"I'll see you tomorrow." Eric kissed me and walked back to his house.
I exhaled slowly and opened the front door. "Gia, could you please come here?"
Walking into the living room, I saw my parents and Anthony sitting on the couch.
"What's this?" I glared at my parents and shook my head.
My mother sighed and covered her face with her hands.
I looked down at my feet and shook my head again.
"Look, it's 10:30. Why is he here? I'm tired and I sure as hell don't feel like arguing." I looked back up at my dad and bit my bottom lip with tears in my eyes.
He stood up to hug me and walked me to the staircase. "Go upstairs and get in bed. I'll be up there in a few minutes."
He kissed my forehead and I made my way up to my bedroom.
Once I closed the door, I took off my clothes and picked out one of Eric's shirts to wear to sleep.
I sat my phone on my pillow and got comfortable before unlocking my phone.
"I'm sorry about tonight, babe. I'll make it up to you this weekend."
I smiled and thought of what to reply with.
"I told you it's fine, so stop apologizing, baby. And just tell me when and where. I can't wait to see you again."
I locked my phone and smiled before resting my head on my pillow.
My dad walked in and I sat up with a slight smile.
"Is he still here?" He shook his head and sat on my bed.
"Why did he even come over here?" He wrapped his arm around me and rested his back against the headboard.
"Well, he wanted my blessing to marry Gracie. I told him to do whatever he want, as long as he doesn't hurt you anymore." I shook my head and laughed sarcastically.
"He's so damn annoying, daddy. I can't believe I married him. Once this divorce is finalized, I don't even want to see him ever again. He's so dead to me." My dad nodded and held me closer to him.
"Gia, you're doing better than I thought. I was honestly scared that you would hurt Gracie." I laughed loudly and rested my head on his shoulder.
"Dad, I'm falling apart right in front of your eyes. Yeah, I'm really happy with Eric. I'm not denying that. These last few weeks with him have made me not want to kill myself. He's such a great boyfriend." Smiling, I started to think about Eric.
He has become my backbone and has always been best friend. I'm so blessed to have him.
"I'm glad you're happy again. He better treat you right, but I know Eric. He's a good guy and I have faith in your relationship." He kissed the top of my head and got out of my bed.
"I'll see you in the morning, princess. I love you." I smiled and blew him a kiss before he walked out.
I checked my phone and smiled once I saw I had a message from Eric.
"Good night, babe. I love you."
I smiled and looked at the picture of him on my nightstand, wishing we were together.
"I love you too, Eric. Get some sleep, baby."
You might think we're saying the L-word too soon, but we're not. There was always something between us.
He's always had feelings for me and I've always had feeling for him. He's such a hopeless romantic and I love that about him.
Even before we started dating, we would act like a couple. Austin even got jealous at how close Eric and I were.
I'm just glad we're finally together.

"Gia, baby." I sat my curling wand on the bathroom counter and opened the door to see my dad sitting on my bed.
"Hey, papa bear. What's going on?" I tucked my hair behind my ears.
"We need to talk." I absolutely hate hearing those four words.
"You need to talk to your sister."
I stood up and laughed bitterly. "You might as well ask me to break up with E and get back with Anthony."
He gave me a confused look and I rolled my eyes in annoyance.
"That means it ain't gonna happen, daddy." I walked back into the bathroom and sprayed my self with body spray.
"Baby, she's your sister. You have to initiate it, since you are the more mature one." I sighed and looked at him briefly.
"Okay, okay, fine. I'll talk to her." He hugged me and kissed my forehead before pulling away.
"I'll let you get ready for your date. I love you." I smiled and turned off my curling wand before stepping back into my bedroom.
My mom walked in and sat on my bed with a smile. "Hey, mama. What's going on?"
"I just wanted you to know that I don't like what they're doing. I told Gracie she needs to apologize and tell you the whole truth."
I furrowed my eyebrows and put on my boots.
"The whole truth?" She nodded and started mumbling in Spanish.
"I'm gonna go. I love you, hija."
I faked a smile and waved as she walked out.
"The whole truth..?" I sat on the bed and shook my head, completely annoyed with the situation.
