<Chisaki POV>

"What's with the blood?" I asked, pointing to a spot on the ground.

I looked back up to Shigaraki, only to be greeted by his frozen expression. I'm almos positive I know why it's there, I just need to hear it from him.

"I- uh- I h..had a bloody nose last night.." It sounded more like a question.

Does he seriously not trust me? His lying skills are terrible.

I just nodded my head slowly, following him into his room. It wasn't the biggest; but it wasn't too small. It at least looks clean. That's always a good thing. The room consisted of a bed, a dresser and a desk.

"Sorry it's not much"

"Hm? Oh, no it's nice. I like it" I said turning to look at him once more.

He flashed an awkward smile before returning to his stance of looking the other way.

"So uh- should we get started?" I inquired.

"Yeah, yeah. I just need to call my father to let him know there's guests."

I nodded, understanding.

Soon enough I could hear the dial tone as Shigaraki put the phone to his ear, trying to keep his conversation as private as possible.

<Shigaraki POV>

I held the phone to my ear, heart beating faster and faster by every ring that remains unanswered. Of course I don't want to talk to father, but if he finds out someone's over here without his knowledge he'll go ballistic.

I started to become lost in thought, thinking of what I should say when or if he answers. I probably should've prepared a bit better. Though in the eyes of Chisaki, I can only imagine how weird I'd look.

I'd like to at least like to keep a shred of my dignity.

"Hello?"

I was brought back to reality by the gruff sounding voice of my father. If you dare call him that.

"Oh, yes. Hello father. I just wanted to inform you that I have a classmate over. We're working on school stuff." I truly did try my hardest to come off as polite.

Whether or not he would receive it as that is the question. I'm not exactly in the mood to explain a screaming father over the phone to a friend. Well, guest.

I could hear the forced tone in his voice, "Yes, yes. How lovely, thank you for informing me Tenko." The last word rolling off his tounge in a harsh manner.

Does he really have to do this shit? My God it's not that hard to accept a name change.

"Bye"

I hung up the phone, releasing the breath I didn't know I was holding in.

"You good?" A familiar husk voice rang in my ear.

I looked up at him, momentarily forgetting what I was doing in the first place. How wonderful.

"Yeah- let's just get started"

He nodded.

***

<Chisaki POV>

I'd say we've been studying for about an hour now. Things have been going quite smooth dare I say. I believe there was really only one or two moments in which awkward silence overcame the both of us.

Well, there goes the comfort. Shigaraki's head shot up, looking towards his door. The emotion within his face changed for a second into a distressed(?) look, before returning to its usual apathetic ways.

I looked at him, watching him watch the door. His deep crimson eyes are mesmerizing. Once you've looked into them you've been caught in a trap, unable to move. Not knowing surroundings but at the same time enjoying it.

I realized what I was doing and shook my head before turning down to look at my textbook. Shigaraki's eyes have yet to leave the door.

I wanted to ask him what he's thinking, but I'm not an idiot. There's no way in hell he, or ANYONE for that matter would admit they're not okay. Gotta love our society.

I was about to open my mouth when I heard the front door open, followed by the not so quiet footsteps of who I presume to be Shigaraki's father.

By his behavior, I'm almost positive my theory from before was correct.
