I woke up to the sound of next door, where construction was taking place.
"Silver," Cassie came through the door. "How do you spell 'I cup'."
"I'm not falling for that one," I said starting to get up from my warm comfy bed.
"Oh come on for old time sakes," she pleaded.
"What are you ninety or something? Get out of here!"I shouted. Cassie ran out the room; probably tell mum I had been punching her. Drama queen she is. I don't know why I was in such a bad mood, maybe because Zac broke up with me or the fact that I'm getting older every day. I sat on my bed waiting for something to happen I didn't care what happened, just something like a miracle or Zac getting hit by a car. No those things only happen in the movies. I lay back on my bed staring at the ceiling, at that moment my mobile started to ring. I picked up.
"Hello," I said, closing my eyes.
"Silver, get your butt down here our school project is due in two days," I looked at my alarm clock. Sugar! The Clock struck eleven o'clock. Man I got up late.
"Okay, I'll be there in half an hour," I sprung up.
"Okay, hurry," Macy hung up. How could I forget, grabbing the nearest clothes to Me, I dropped my mobile and started to dress like the house was about to explode. I ran downstairs tripping on the stairs, making my last few steps down into a tumble.
"Ow," I lay on the floor.
"Silver can I play?" Cassie came and crouched beside me.
"Go away," I jumped up. Then made my way towards the kitchen; my mum was drinking tea, trying to relax and my dad reading the newspaper.
"Hello darling," dad said getting up. "What would you like for breakfast?I'm making it today," My dad smiled.
"Sorry dad I'm in a real rush," I picked up the toast on my dad's place, and gobbled it up in a whole. I flickered my eyes towards my dad, to show I was sorry for eating his toast. He huffed then just sat down and continued reading the newspaper. I got a glass and filled it with water and chucked it down my throat.
"I'm going to Macy's," I said running out the kitchen door.
"You better look in the mirror first," Cassie announced. I looked to my right. She was right I should have looked in the mirror more thoroughly what lay before me was not Silver but a horrible beast with no makeup and horrible hair. I sprinted to my room searching frantically for my hairbrush. I opened all my drawers, searched under my bed in all my makeup bags, nothing, no hairbrush.
"Here," Cassie was at the door holding my hairbrush. "You left it downstairs yesterday remember,"I didn't have the slightest clue what happened between me and the hairbrush yesterday but I had my hairbrush back. I went to Cassie and kissed her lightly on the head, she squirmed as I pulled away to the mirror. Taking my hairbrush I began to comb my messy, knotty hair. It took a total of ten minutes to make my hair okay... I did a sigh of relief it didn't take a long time. Then I applied my mascara and lipstick. I legged it out my room and down the stairs. I grabbed my keys of the hook, put my flat shoes on.
"Bye!" I shouted, Opening the door and slamming it behind. Now all I needed to do was get to the bus top that was five minutes away. I took a deep breath and started to run as fast as my legs would go. I twisted my ankle in the matter of one minute. But I kept on running, the pain getting more unbearable. I could now see the bus stop... in the distance though. I could see the bus coming up, I ran with all my might. But I was too late by the time I got anywhere near the bus left, I stopped, and started to inhale as much air as I could. As the bus went past, I saw who was on it. Chavs. Definitely, Chavs sitting at the back. Two old ladies were at the front, and a group of girls in the middle. You know I'm actually grateful I didn't get on that bus. I walked slowly to the bus stop, and sat down. My ankle was killing me.
