Time was going slow, and Taemin and Key had absolutely no idea how to kill it. The clock was the only thing there could be heard in the quiet apartment. The silence was so thick; it honestly felt quite suffocating.

The younger of the two were lying on the couch while his legs were tangling from the arm rest as he sighed before running a hand through his hair.

The older on the other hand were walking frustrated back and forth as he cursed on and on about what could go wrong when Jonghyun came back... which was in a few minutes.

"So when he arrives..." Taemin started out as he starred at the ceiling. "He won't remember us? Not at all?"

Key let out a shaky breath as he stopped walking before turning his attention back at the younger.

"Do you think our plan will work?" The other continued the long list of questions as Key frowned slightly at the answers his head came up with.

"I don't know... maybe if we're lucky." The older finally replied as Taemin nodded quietly before a knock on the door interrupted their conversation.

The two fast turned around as the youngest got up from his previously position. It was them. It was Jonghyun.

"Hi guys. We're back." Onew announced in the most forced "normal" behavior he could manage; He clearly didn't want to realize things weren't as before.

Jonghyun stepped hesitating into the apartment as he looked around like was it the first time he had ever been at Onew's place - which it was according to his memory.

The boy didn't look much different than normal; Leather jacket, a white collar shirt underneath, black skinny jeans and white sneakers... He looked good. Normal. He looked like himself. Well, at least his clothes did. But his eyes spoke a whole other story.

His eyes were grey and cold. No, not cold... Empty. He looked lost. Lost and ripped from every feeling he had ever felt.

His eyes held no sign of happiness as they used to. That bright sparkle Key normally loved more than anything was gone too. Gone like Jonghyun's memory.

Even though the boy didn't look like it, he was still the same. His feelings were still the same; no memory lost could change that... He just didn't know. He didn't remember what feelings he normally had. He didn't remember the key to the sparkle his eyes held before. He didn't remember what caused his happiness.

But that was the thing... It was not like he didn't know - he just didn't remember.

Maybe he was still in there? Maybe he would remember somehow? Well, that was at least what they were going to figure out: How to get him to remember.

"Jonghyun, where do you prefer to sleep?" Onew asked the confused looking boy. "Just so we can get your stuff unpacked."

"Are you ready?" Taemin whispered to Key as he nodded quietly.

"Em, I don't know..." Jonghyun replied in a voice there didn't sound like his own. "Where do I usually sleep?"

"With me," Key broke in with a forced smile. "Come, I will show you." He told as he grabbed some of the boy's stuff from Onew's hands before making his way into his room.
