"I don't know Elle, seems like you've gotten into quite the predicament," Jane said looking over her shoulder at me.
I sighed and grabbed another book. She wasn't wrong. Why couldn't she be wrong? Just this once. "I know."
"What are you going to do?" They asked as she took the book from me and positioned it on the shelf.
"No clue."
The bell chimed as the door swung open. A gust had pushed some orange and brown leaves in after the person. Great, more to clean up. Putting my best smile on I stepped towards the front desk.
"Come on Gabs," Jane said fiddling with the book. "You so do know what you want to do."
I sighed rolling my eyes at her. "Sometimes what I want to and what I should do aren't the same," I said turning my attention back to work.
