We're back in our room in silence, I looked at her and she seemed thinking about something since she just standing there looking down so I tapped her shoulder
She turns to me so I asked “what's wrong?”
She just look at me silently before grabbing my arm and put us on the bed
She put my head on her chest and hug me tightly “I just scared that something happened to you”
“but it's fine, I'm strong and I can–”
“THAT'S THE PROBLEM” she cut me off
I looked at her and there's tears on her eyes
She continued “you only find out about your power just awhile ago right? Do you already understand all of your power? What if you go overboard and something did happen! Rimuru... I just don't want to lose you...”
“I-i'm sorry”
“Just... Don't go on your own please... Or atleast tell me beforehand”
“alright then I promise”
She smiled before falling asleep, well I guess me too for now
The next morning
I wake up and it is really warm, her body wraps around me, the morning sun shining through the window and.....
“Beautiful...” I unconsciously muttered and hugs her tighter
“ngh! Rimuru you're too tight!” I think she sleep talked
I quickly let go of her and sits up “ah I'm sorry are you okay?”
She also sits up “Sigh~ you finally let go” she says as she stood up
“wait are you not sleeping?”
“of course I did, it's just that when I wake up you keep hugging me tightly”
Now I'm a bit panicking “Since when are you awake?”
“just a few minutes before you—”
Oh no...
“–i tried moving but you're too strong and holding me tightly–”
I think I know where she's going...
“–I think I accidentally awaken you so I pretended to be sleeping–”
I lay back down and covered my face
“–when you muttered "beautiful" I know that you're fully awake–” she smiled
Noo it's a bit embarrassing! So embarrassing that I turned back into slime
“–but before I can say something you already hugging me even tighter” she looked at me “What's wrong?”
“nothing!” I says with a blanket covering me
She crouched down and pick me up “aww come here, what's wrong?”
“I-i don't know, I feel embarrassed when I know you heard what I said”
“you don't mean it when you said that?” she put on a sad face
“of course I am!” I retorted
She smiled again before rubbing my body “thank you”
