...
It was sunny. No cloud present in the sky. A nice day, at that.
The Hashiras had decided to get together, because it'd been a while since they'd all seen each other.
It was around 1:30 in the afternoon when Shinobu arrived. Of course I'm the first one, she thought. About 4 minutes later, Mitsuri showed up, a basket in her hand.
"I'm so sorry I'm late you guys! I-" she stopped, realizing it was only Kocho.
"It's alright, Kanroji-san. I'm the only one here. I guess we're just, early." she said sarcastically, rolling her eyes.
Mitsuri giggled. "And I thought I was the late one. Well, I brought some stuff to help set up!"
"Let me help you with that."
By the time they had finished, Muchiro and Himejima had arrived.
"I apologize for our tardiness. We were at the market buying some treats for everyone." said Himejima. "I forgot which ones we bought, but they looked satisfactory enough." Muchiro mentioned.
"Oh! How thoughtful! Please, make yourselves' comfortable."
Over the course of 10 minutes, more and more of the Hashira showed up. Rengoku and Uzui had gone out and bought refreshments for everyone, and Iguro had brought... nothing, as expected.
Everyone was there. Except...
"Wait! Where's Tomioka-san and Shinazugawa-san? We're missing them!" Mitsuri asked, silencing all the other conversations.
"I don't believe we saw them earlier, right Rengoku?" said Uzui. "Nope!"
"Huh." Was all Iguro had to say.
"Who are we taking about again?" Muchiro asked.
"Too bad, really." said Shinobu.
Just at that moment, Giyuu and Sanemi both appeared, one on either side of the party.
"Sorry I'm late." Giyuu said, walking towards the group.
...
"Well, how about that!" spat Uzui, breaking the tension.
Iguro glared at Sanemi, menacingly. "What's your excuse this time?" he asked.
"I-Uh, got.. lost?" Sanemi didn't, really. He'd just forgotten about it. He'd lost time, that's for sure.
"Keep telling me that, and I might start to believe you really are as stupid as you look." he hoaxed. "EH?! You're a fucking bitch, you know that?" Sanemi said, raising his left hand. Iguro laughed, high-fiving the hot-head. "Yup."
"Tomioka-san~ where have you been? You're almost an hour late." Shinobu had been bugging him about it since he'd arrived. He couldn't get her to shut up. "Kocho, please stop." But she wouldn't. Teasing was what Shinobu was best at, and she enjoyed every moment of it.
Soon enough, it was nearing dusk.
"Before we all leave, anyone up to play a game?" Mitsuri asked. Everyone happily agreed. Well, Tomioka was forced to play by Shinobu and Uzui, but whatever.
"Any ideas?" Shinobu asked. "Hmm.. truth or dare?" she suggested.
"Alright."
"Ok."
"Cool!"
"Fine.."
"Why not!"
"Good with me."
They gathered around one another, as one by one they were asked.
So far, Rengoku was dared to chug an entire bottle of ice-water, Uzui was dared to kiss a frog, Shinobu was dared to pet a furry-animal, Mitsuri was dared to not eat anything for 30 minutes, and Iguro was dared to let Giyuu pet his snake.
Himejima chose truth, and was asked what he thought everyone looked like. Muchiro did the same, only his truth was who he thought was the weakest Hashira.
Once more, the last two who hadn't been asked were none other than Sanemi and Giyuu.
"Tomioka-san, Shinazugawa-san, truth or dare?" Shinobu asked. The pair looked at each other, exchanged a few glances, then finally someone spoke. She hoped they would chose dare, and to her surprise, they did.
"Dare." It was Sanemi.
Most of the Hashira weren't expecting this, but ended up in excitement, wondering what Shinobu would make them do.
Now, you must know something about Shinobu. Recently, she (and Mitsuri) had been 'shipping' Sanemi with Giyuu. They didn't have a specific reason why, they just did. Why would they need one anyway? ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
As Shinobu's gaze met Mitsuri's, she smiled. Although Mitsuri was a bit worried, she was excited at the same time.
Clearing her throat, Shinobu finally spoke.
"Tomioka-san, I dare you to spend 1 whole week, with Shinazugawa-san. And Shinazugawa-san, I dare you to let him." She said finally, her smile wider than before.
A long, awkward pause held in the air.
Giyuu's reaction was not expected. He couldn't even speak. His voice was almost stuck in his throat because of how much shock he was in.
Sanemi's face was bright red, from both anger and embarrassment.
"You both must stay at one of your estates', spend all day and all night together. It starts, now." She said, chuckling as she checked her watch.
Uzui burst with laughter. "You have to do it, guys! It's a dare! Plus, if you don't do it, you'll have to an even worser one!" He smirked, still catching his breath.
Sanemi's breathing was uneven now.
"I- I mean, those are the rules you two.." muttered Mitsuri.
Iguro's snickering only angered Sanemi. "WHY THE FUCK ARE YOU LAUGHING?!" He said, smacking his arm. "Sucks to be you, huh?" Iguro chuckled as he fist-bumped Uzui who was still laughing.
"Why do I have to do it?! Why it can't be with Mr. Burn-Out?!" He protested, pointing towards Rengoku. "I'm sorry, but I will not be doing that!" Rengoku exclaimed, making an X with his arms.
Sanemi had to try every possible way to get out of this, fast. But in all his efforts, none had worked.
"Because, Shinazugawa-san, I chose your dares. Now, I'm sorry this isn't to your liking, but rules are rules." Shinobu's teasing was tearing his pride apart.
"Now both of you, your dares have already started. I'd suggest you'd get on with it if you don't want them to worsen."
so annoying...
