Date night

Me and Johnathan have been flirty for a while now and after our first pretend date he finally asked me out to a real one I'm super excited because I've had a secret crush on him for a while now.

Johnathan Faber.

I can picture it already Mr & Mrs Faber she's absolutely gorgeous and extremely smart I can't wait for this date I already know I gotta impress her. I can't let her think I'm not good at dates I'm sure that's a turnoff.

They both get dressed.

"Hey mom I know you don't wanna talk to me but I'm an attorney now I done so much better with my life and I miss you so much love you!" Hollis said as she sighed.

She never knew if her mother received her voicemails or if she'll ever call back but she had faith. She'll never give up on her family especially because she knows how that can affect someone.

Just then her doorbell rang.

"Coming!" She shouted fixing her hair

She opened the door and there was Johnathan with flowers and a smile on his face. He was such a gentleman.

"Hollis you look beautiful these are for you." He said as he handed her the flowers

"Thank you. You look pretty handsome yourself." She said as she took the flowers and brought them over to her vase.

"May I?" He said as he reached for her hand

"Of course Detective." She said as she took his hand as he lead her to the car.

They got in the car and just admired each other it was like they were having a full on conversation with their eyes but finally Faber breaks the silence.

"So how are you what's been going on in your life?" Johnathan asked looking at the road

"It's been great so far I'm still happy about getting justice for Jeffrey and Kayla." Hollis said as she smiled reminiscing on how they solved the case.

"Yea we couldn't have done it without you." Faber said as he pulled into the restaurant's parking lot

Hollis smiled as she watched him get out and open her door. She never felt this way about any man since Bill which was quite a while ago.

They walk into the restaurant holding hands. They looked like the perfect couple.

"Hi I have a reservation under Faber." He said

"Okay follow me." The waiter said

Once they were settled in, ordered the drinks and they had their small talk they finally got down to what they both were waiting for.

"So John I gotta ask do you like me?" Hollis asked as she sipped her wine.

"Hollis you are absolutely amazing you made me realize that sometimes I don't have to be this hardcore detective all the time so it would be impossible to not like you!" Faber said as Hollis smiled

"Well Mr Faber I really like you too. Your really a great guy!" Hollis said as they both smiled

"Hey Hollis I know this might be a little personal and you don't have to answer if you don't want too, but would you ever consider having kids one day?" Faber asked awkwardly as a big smile appeared on Hollis face

"Yes! I would love to have kids but when I was with Bill that wasn't something that I wanted with him. I didn't wanna bring a child in that environment especially after he left." Hollis said as her smiled went down

"Well everything is gonna be okay and I just know you'll find that person. And really honestly speaking I would like that person to be me. Faber says before Hollis could speak the food arrived.

"Thank you!" They said in unison

"You guys are so cute! It's definitely giving couple goals." The waitress said before she walked away

"Hollis?" Faber asked

"Yes darling?" Hollis said

"I know this is only our first real date but I really need to be straightforward with you. I absolutely adore you and I wanna take this time to ask you if you'll be my girlfriend!" Faber said as she smiled widely

"Of course Detective I'll be your girlfriend!" Hollis said as she looked deeply into his eyes.

They ate their food and just talked for hours and hours they had learned so much about each other  and was so fascinated with each but it got so late the waitress had to ask them to leave!

They walked outside holding each other's hand laughing like never before.

He finally got her home!

"I had a really great time tonight detective!" Hollis said as they reached her doorstep

"I did too and I can't wait til the next date my lady!" Faber said happily

"Are you asking me out again?" Hollis asked giggling

"I think I am!" Faber said as they locked eyes. They felt something that they never thought they could feel. Just then Hollis leaned in for a kiss that they shared so passionately.

They finally pulled apart.

"Goodnight Detective." Hollis said as she winked at him and walked inside her house

"Goodnight Hollis."
