I wish I could say I never got morning sickness but that would be a lie. I woke up earlier than my normal and stretched and it hit me. I scrambled out of bed running for the bathroom. I just made it to the toilet when I emptied my stomach of any food.

After I sank to the floor for a second, "ugh gross" I said wiping my mouth.

"Babe you ok? Where are you?" Darius calls out.

"In here," I call back flushing the toilet. I didn't even have the chance to turn on the light.

He comes in sees me on the floor and comes and picks me up. "Morning sickness?" He asks and I nod. "Do you want some toast baby?" I nod again.

He lays me back in bed and covers me up before going to make me toast. I ended up falling back asleep and woke when D came in. "Here's your toast babe, eat it slow alright," he says softly while moving to sit behind me.

"Where did you go before?" I ask then begin to slowly munch on my toast.

"I was checking the sprinkler system it wasn't working properly last time so I was making sure the repairs were working like they are supposed to. I had just finished and came back to find an empty bed with the covers thrown aside." He says while gently rubbing my arms.

I was getting sleepy again just relaxing against him. I don't remember even finishing my toast, I think I fell asleep again.

Darius POV

My poor little mate is exhausted, she fell asleep again with her toast in her hand. I put it on her plate and place it on the nightstand. I cover us and settle in, I'm glad her color has returned to normal. She was so pale after she was sick.

Gently so as not to wake Via I rub her belly, hello my babies this is your daddy speaking try not to make mommy sick any more ok. We love you both so much we cant wait to meet you.

Via snuggles a little deeper into my chest somehow and falls into a deeper sleep. Making myself comfortable I join her in rest, what I didn't tell her was I purposely finished all my work early so I could stay close.

Henry said they found some strange tracks close to our lands but not on them. Something tells me it's not coincidence, but I don't want to freak out Via. The last thing she needs is to be stressed out, it's not good for our little ones.

I manage to not have any dreams but a huge wet spot on my shirt when I woke up again. Looking down I see Via has been so out of it she drooled.

All of a sudden her eyes fly open and she scrambles to get up. I follow as rushes only to stop as she pukes on the floor infront of the toilet.

I clean her up before I tend the floor, it's an easy clean as it's tile but I can tell she feels embarrassed about not making it.

Hearing her sniff, I turn to see her crying. "I'm so sorry I tried.." she says and I hug her.

"Baby it's fine if anything it's good practice for me for when the kiddos come," I say trying to make her smile and she let's out a small laugh.

"Oh gosh did I do that to your shirt?" She asks seeing it for the first time. Before I can say anything she drops he head on my chest and groans. "If you want to leave a disgusting mess like me I dont blame you," her muffled voice comes out.

"Never, you're mine and I'm yours forever no matter what happens. My soul is bound to yours, I wouldn't have it any other way." I say rubbing her back soothing her.

"I love you Darius Hellflame, even when I'm gross." She says making me laugh.

"Do you want to try going downstairs?" I ask and she shakes her head.

"I'm so sleepy today, can we just chill today?" She askes leaning against me closing her eyes.

"Alright, do you want me to get you anything first?" I ask and she shakes her head.

I get us both down onto the bed and we cuddle falling asleep once more not waking till just after mid day. "How do you feel honey?" I ask her and she smiles, "much better."

"Good let's go eat," I say as my stomach growls hungrily.

We walk downstairs slowly and hear Maggie and the others. I'm not sure what they've been making but what ever it is makes Via moan. "Are you going to be sick again?" I ask worried.

"That smells so good," says walking towards the kitchen like a zombie making me let out a startled laugh.

"Hey sweetie are you hungry I made some soup?" Maggie asks holding up a ladle.

"Will it help with her morning sickness?" I ask taking the seat next to Via.

"It may, dont know yet," she shrugs.

"Why is it called morning sickness if it happens all the time?" Via moans dropping her head to the table.

"That's a good question, maybe whomever came up with it was trying to give us ladies hope, or they thought it only happened in the morning." Maggie says serving the soup.

"I think my mom used to say something about sucking on some dragon fruit candy to help with her morning sickness," I say trying to remember the conversations that I used to have with my parents.

I wish that they could have been here, I wish they could have met Via and be here to meet their grandchildren when they are born. I have tried not to think of them often but now their memories with knowledge I need is welcome.

"Can I ask what happened to your parents? My mom mentioned that they passed but that's all," Janice asks timidly.

"They were killed by hunters," I say quietly and she starts to apologize and I wave it off. "I'm not upset with you, you asked I answered, I miss them I dont really get to talk about them much so it's fine," I say and begin eating. Maybe talking about the good times will be a good thing.
