The animals woke up from their winter hibernation and went to go find a mate.
Now, the birds were singing and chirping for joy.

Meanwhile, Friend Owl was in his tree and he was trying to sleep.
He was annoyed constantly by the beautiful singing coming from the all birds.
"Oh what now"?
He grumbled.
After looking around for a minute or two, he began to shout.
"Hey! Hey! Stop that racket"!
He hollered.
"Scat! Shoo shoo"!
But the birds were too busy singing while celebrating the arrival of springtime to hear from the wise old owl.

Friend Owl said to himself out loud .
And then, he let out a loud:
"HOO HOOOO"!
The loud sudden noise scared the birds and they scampered and became separated from their mates.
