We just came back from a little bakery we had met up with our wedding planner to taste wedding cakes. At first, we didn't really want a wedding planner and to just do things ourselves but planning a wedding was more work than either of us thought and with me back filming and Flo working and wanting to enjoy our wedding day without having stress about things we finally relented and hired the woman who was initially only in charge of dressing the venue to help us with the whole thing.
The whole wedding planning became even more stressful because of the fact that we forgot that we probably should hire security because the guest list kept growing as i just couldn't pick between my friends. Our little wedding went from 50 to 100 to 150 guests making my old house not an option anymore so we had picked a beautiful venue. With a big open outdoor space to hold the party and ceremony. Flo was perfectly fine having a small wedding and i was happy about that but the more we came into planning the more we just realized there were too many people we wanted to share our day with and i had trouble picking so Flo suggested to have the wedding be bigger as she didn't want me to exclude anyone or miss anyone on our big day.
We arrived at the florist and after looking at a few options we picked one we both licked. I would have given Flo anything she wanted but she never wanted to pick everything herself always wanting my input. We told the planner our choice and what we had envisioned the place should look like and she told us she could make it happen and to send over some plans for us to approve. As we drove home Flo's hand in mine i smiled looking at her for a brief moment. I kissed her hand and she looked at me smiling. "Can't wait to marry you..." She said smiling. "Likewise baby it's going to be the best day of my life..." She blushed and her blushing still was the most beautiful thing ever.
A few weeks went by, and we had arranged everything. I had one of my days off and was with Scott at a tux fitting. "Can't believe you are getting married..." Scott said chuckling. "For a moment we thought this day would never come..." He joked. I grinned. "I was just waiting for the right person..." I said smiling. "Yeah, Flo is amazing..." Scott agreed.
I was just about to say something when the chime of the door went off. "Well, dont you look dapper..." A voice said, i turned around to see Robert standing there a big smile on his face. "What are you doing here?" I said surprised walking over to him giving him a hug.
"You dont think i want to miss this do you? Dorito finally settling down.... So, me and the misses are here to give assistants... Plus i may have a little cameo in your new project...."
"Man, Flo is going to love having you 2 around..." I said smiling. "Yeah, well what is not to love..." Robert said in a way only he could. "So... Is this going to be the suit for your wedding?" Robert asked pulling my tie straight. "I dont know it is hard to choose especially not knowing what Flo has chosen as a dress...." I sighed.
"Yeah, buddy she is not going to tell you so let that go..." Scott said rolling his eyes. "Give me a minute..." Robert said pulling out his phone. To my surprise he called Flo, i have never known they exchanged numbers. When he hung up, he grinned. "Go for dark blue or black...." Robert said and i nodded.
"Dark blue it is..." Scott said grinning. I looked at him surprised. "What?" Scott said. "Blue is your color...."
"He is not wrong Dorito...." Robert agreed. I nodded and picked a navy-blue suit.
After the tailor had put down the measurements for the alterations we left. We drove past the clinic to say hi to Flo who was working today, and she squealed when she saw Robert hugging him tight. She insisted that he and Susan came over for dinner. He gladly accepted and Flo made a list of groceries for me to get. Robert and i parted ways and i went to the groceries store with Scott to get everything Flo needed for dinner.
When Flo came home, she kissed me before hurrying to the kitchen to get dinner ready. She was almost done when Robert and Susan had arrived and after having a drink we sat down for dinner. We talked about the wedding and my project where Robert would be part off. After desert we had another drink before Robert and Susan said their goodbye's.
We took the dogs for a walk, her hand in mine as we walked in silence i loved the fact that we could be like this just silent we didn't need words to enjoy each other's company. We laughed as Ollie, George and Dodger were running around chasing each other but almost crashing into a gate too busy with each other to pay attention on their surroundings.
We made our way home ma was sitting on her porch, so we went over to say hi the dogs running around in the garden. After an hour or so we went home. "Wanna watch a movie?" I asked her and she nodded. We settled in on the couch and Flo cuddle into me and not even halfway into the movie she had fallen asleep with her head in my lap. I lifted her head slowly to not wake her up and stood up. I lifted her bridal style and carried her to bed. I undressed her knowing she hated sleeping in her everyday clothes. After i had tucked her in i got in myself cuddling up to her and soon i was asleep also.
