It was the day before the wedding and i was hugging Flo saying goodbye for the night. I was going to stay over at ma's with Scott and my nephews and brother-in-law. While my sister's, ma and my niece were going to stay with Flo.
"You 2 are terrible..." Scott said rolling his eyes as Flo and i had a hard time saying goodbye. I didn't really want to leave her. All our guests were in town and with famous guests came... paparazzi. Yesterday they almost knocked Flo over when she was leaving work to go home. They were camped out in front of the house and trying to get on the grounds, and we had to call the police. Security has been tightened but i was worried for her to get to the venue. I was worried about people trying to sneak in but the security company we had hired assured us they would do everything possible to keep everything running smooth and safe so we could enjoy our day.
"Come on Chris... She will be fine..." Scott whined pulling on my arm making Flo giggle. "You better go before he drags you out..." She says kissing me. "Dont worry about me your mom and sisters will be here soon so i won't be alone long...." She says smiling at me. I kiss her one last time before saying goodbye to the dogs and walk out with Scott.
"You, okay?" Scott asks as i look around seeing the security i hired to keep an eye on the house and the paparazzi at arm's length. "Yeah, just worried about Flo... Dont want her to have stress and everything to go perfect tomorrow..." I sighed. "It will Chris we will all make sure of it... Now let's go to ma's and have a drink..." I nodded and got in the car and Scott took off.
I smile when i walk into ma's house seeing my nephews and brother-in-law. We have a few drinks playing some games before we all go to bed not wanting to be totally exhausted tomorrow. I lay in bed and sigh as i look to the side normally Flo is laying. God i hate sleeping without her.
I pull out my phone and send Flo a text to wish her goodnight. We have been texting of and on during the day. She texted me back that she missed me and that the bed felt empty without me. I called her wanting to hear her voice.
"Hey..." She whispered picking up the phone. "Shouldn't you be sleeping..." I said back, smiling as i heard her voice. "Shouldn't you Mr. Evans?" she said and i know she was smiling. "I miss you..." she said letting out a sigh. "You know i can always sneak out and come home..." I said smiling through the phone.
She giggled. "Scott and your mother and sisters will kill us... So better not... Something about bad luck. We should get some sleep..." She whispers before yawning. "I will see you tomorrow..." I whisper. "Yes... I will be the one in white..." She says and i smile as i picture her in a wedding dress. "Love you..." I say as i can feel sleep taking over. "I love you to..." She says and i know she is half asleep to.
I wake up the next morning by my nephews jumping on the bed. "Wake up Uncle Chris!! breakfast is ready..." I smiled grabbing them and tickling them making them scream and squeal. I put on some clothes and walked down. I greeted everyone and sat down for breakfast.
"Ready to get married today...?" Scott asks. I grin at him. "More than ready. Can't wait to marry Flo..." Scott started to chuckle. I looked at him... "What?" I said looking at Scott. "We have a bet..." I look at him and for a moment my heart sinks. "What kind of bet?" I ask him a bit scared to find out. "What her full name is..." Scott said. I let out a sigh of relief. "God really...?" I said rolling my eyes. "Hey, we are just curious...." Scott said shrugging his shoulders. "Right..." I said smiling.
After breakfast i packed my stuff and we got ready to head to the venue. Both me and Flo would get ready there so we would be shielded from the press. The driver picked us up and drove us to the venue. We arrived and i looked around it was absolutely beautiful just like me and Flo had envisioned.
"Wauw this place looks gorgeous..." Scott said looking around. The wedding planner came up to me smiling and took us to the room where Scott my nephews and brother-in-law could get ready.
"Is Flo here yet?" I asked the wedding planner, and she nodded smiling. "They are getting ready at the other side of the venue..." She said. "No sneaking of!!" Scott said looking at me with a serious look. "Yeah, yeah, yeah i know... Bad luck bla bla bla. Dont worry i will stay put." I said rolling my eyes.
Lunch was brought to the suite, and we ate before we got changed. I started to wonder how Flo was doing other than a good morning text exchange i hadn't heard from her.
I could see the guests coming in as my suite looked out over the place where the ceremony would take place. Cars were driving off and on. The wedding planner checked in every now and then assuring me that everything was running smooth. I was nervous but the good kind, i couldn't wait to see Flo as i was really starting to miss her what was ridiculous i know... But God i was curious and anxious to see her. I had no doubt she would be the most beautiful bride ever.
I was finally time for me to go to the spot and start the ceremony. I walked with Scott to my spot and stood there waiting, saying hi to some people. I saw all my Marvel friends my whole family. I chuckled as Taika and Hemsworth were giving me the thumbs up while pulling weird faces. Scarlet was talking with Lizzie and my family was talking with everyone like they always did. I was growing more and more anxious as time went on. As i looked around the guests i saw Robert was missing which was weird but i just shrugged it off.
I took a deep breath as the music started playing this was it, this was the start of the rest of my life.
