* Maybe healing isn't that hard when you have somebody to walk with you along the way. *

You had been allowed to return to your home after you were done with one final check-up. Jimin helped you all along. You were worried about your home, but you knew that Taehyung would've handled it. The mission was to take place in thirteen days. You had to not only train yourself but also train Jimin. It was good that you received the green signal from Hobi to participate in the mission, or else you were sure that Namjoon would replace you.

Jimin was super dramatic about you finally going back to your home. He kept asking you if you were feeling okay and whether you felt healthy. It felt nice to be fussed over for once, but you also found it amusing. "Jimin, I've had worse injuries and I've managed them on my own," you said with a smile as he asked you if you were okay for the hundredth time.

"But you don't have to manage it on your own anymore," he said assertively as he opened the car door for you. Taehyung had come to pick you up. You had a valet and you told Taehyung that you would manage, but Taehyung was insistent and you had to comply. Jimin and you sat in the backseat together while Taehyung drove the car. The whole car ride was a comfortable one. You, Jimin, and Taehyung talked about silly things to lighten up the situation and Taehyung assured you that the assets in your home weren't damaged much.

Only your living room was damaged; the rest of the house seemed to be intact which was a relief. As soon as you reached your home, the half damaged part of it haunted you. The burnt walls and the soot covered curtains reminded you of the previous day. A shiver ran down your spine, but you ignored it and proceeded into your home. Jimin constantly held your hand, ensuring that you were okay.

Taehyung took you to your office, which now had some of your paintings stored. You touched the paintings and felt relieved that none of this was combusted. They were bad memories, but they were your memories and you wanted to preserve them. "Y/Nie, I've got to handle the company, I will leave now, if you need anything just call me," Taehyung said as he checked his watch. You knew it was wrong to leave the entire responsibility of your company on Taehyung but you didn't have any other option. You nodded your head at him and Jimin volunteered to walk him to the door.

You stood in your office, taking a look at all the files that were intact. Walking to the stacks of files you grabbed the old dusty file and looked at it wistfully. 'Dear Sibling' you read the letters. You recalled that these letters haunted you a few days ago and now that you had told somebody about it, you felt lighter. Even though you have a very tiny possibility of ever actually finding your sibling, you want to keep trying.

Jimin entered the room to see you holding a file and looking at it in awe. He walked beside you and asked, "What is it Y/N?" you smiled in response and opened the file slowly. Inside he saw haphazardly arranged colored papers, doodles, letters, crayon pieces, and behind them were neatly arranged documents. You sat down on the floor and Jimin followed your suit, sitting beside you.

"This," you said holding out a pink colored paper with big cursive letters, "this was my first letter to my sibling. I wrote it when I was six years old. I knew I couldn't actually send it to them, but I wanted to try and send it through a fairy," you laughed as you handed Jimin the note. He had now learned to read some letters thanks to you and Jungkook. "Dear Sibling. I love you. Please meet me once you come out of the tummy- luv sister Y/N," Jimin read out loud as he thought of a young Y/N sitting with crayons around her and writing this letter. He felt a pang of hurt because he knew how you must've missed your sibling; how heartbreaking it must've been for you.

You took out some more of the doodles, which was you and another smaller kid with you. You placed them beside each other and Jimin could see you blinking your eyes constantly in order to keep your tears in. Then as the pages kept turning, the documents were more well planned and written, the doodles had turned into research. You had a lot of newspaper cuttings and adoption center ads in the file.
