Today is exactly a month since they got married but none of them want to go out for a walk. Especially Jake who is still tired from the match two days ago.

So Taeri had a reason when asked by Mrs. Shim.

Taeri emerged from the kitchen with a bowl of peeled and cut apples. They are supposed to study together but Jake plans to be lazy - lazy considering tomorrow is a holiday.

A bowl of fruit is placed on the table. Jake immediately took a piece of bribed fruit into his mouth.

"You are slow. Look at the story! " said Jake as he chewed on the apple.

Taeri chuckled, the story had just shown the names of the characters and the man had already started blabbering on. She didn't know what story they were going to watch but Taeri just followed.

To be fair, after watching Jake's chosen story, they will watch Taeri's chosen story.

"This is the story of when?" Taeri asked while hugging the pillow. The screen shows a place like a church and then many students gather as in an official gathering only.

"I don't know but this story is the best. You will be inspired. Trust me. " Jake replied with a focused expression. Eyes not moving from the screen showed he really liked the story.

Dead Poet Society. That's the title of the story they're watching. The beginning of the story makes Taeri almost fall asleep but Jake prevents her from sleeping. After almost half a minute of watching Taeri finally understood.

It tells the story of seven friends who do not like following the rules set by the school. Then came a new teacher who encouraged them to try new things. But one in seven died of suicide.

Ah, Taeri is upset!

"Why did he commit suicide? Why didn't his father let him act? Ugh!" Taeri asked while pounding the pillow in her hand.

Jake, who was next to her, just laughed a little while looking at Taeri. He had a similar reaction while watching for the first time.

"Old people then and now are different. They just want what they want but never ask what we want- "said Jake.

Taeri's movement stopped. There was something else in Jake's tone of voice as if he was in grief and disappointment.

"-I also think all parents today will support what their children want. But wrong, only I have high hopes."

Quiet between the two of them before Jake decided to get up but Taeri immediately held his hand. He turned to look at Taeri, one eyebrow raised.

"It's my turn. We made a deal, remember? "

Various types of snacks that Taeri brought to the living room. She put it all on the table with an excited smile. Astonished, Jake saw all the food. He had just come down from the room to pick up a blanket.

"Wait, where can you get this much food? That's a lot of snacks! " Jake asked while throwing a blanket at Taeri.

Not too rude.

Taeri chuckled, "I saved money for shopping-not like you."

Jake just rolled his eyes and took his place next to her.

Taeri. Her hand was already holding a packet of food and that made Jake smile thinly.

He looked at the screen again and paused.

"Werewolf Boy? Do you really want to see this story? " Jake questions with a mocking tone which made Taeri look sharply at him.

After receiving Taeri's gaze, Saliva was swallowed.

He had never seen Taeri look at him like that. "Interesting" Jake whispered.

"This story is the best you know? He taught me loyalty and respect for others. " Taeri replied to Jake's question. Her facial expression returned to normal as she looked at the screen again.

-

Jake knows the story. Before this, Sunghoon and Jay had watched it. Many times until Jake can't remember how many times but the two friends kept crying.

-

What is so special about this story? How sad is it that they can cry?

"Women are very emotional. Come on, why do you like the story of this fictional creature? " asked Jake again. He wondered as well with this storyline.

"Even though the werewolf is just fiction, his love for the girl is not just. He faithfully waited for the girl even as decades passed, he remained faithful. " Taeri replied again.

Her lips unconsciously carved a thin smile, wondering if her relationship with Jake would be like that? Tragic and sad. Secrets that remain secrets and unfulfilled promises?

Taeri doesn't know if he will be like Song Jong Ki's character who stays loyal or Park Bo Young who breaks his promise.

Exhaling without looking away, Taeri spoke again.

"To your knowledge, wolves only have one mate in life." Taeri said without expecting a reply from Jake.

"What if her partner dies?" Jake replied.

She turned to look at Jake with a smile that was hard for her to express. The story hasn't come to an end yet but she already feels like she just wants to cry.

"When her partner dies, she herself will die." Taeri replied in a whisper but could still be heard by Jake.

An hour passed and the two people were still faithful in the living room. With tissues in hand of course. Taeri has no problem crying because this is not the first time but for Jake, yes.

The man cried after watching the story and felt guilty for mocking Jay and Sunghoon before. Taeri chuckled a little looking at Jake's flushed nose.

"Cruel. That cruel story to Layla's feelings near the house now? " the question of Jake who was still not satisfied with the ending of the story

"Come on, that's the story of a fictional creature." Taeri sneered while looking for another story for them to watch.

Jake was just silent, too lazy to want to retaliate because eventually they would quarrel. It takes a lot of days for them to be like this. So, Jake just kept quiet because he was comfortable enough.

The night was spent with an unintentional marathon movie session. They both enjoyed this time - not only them but Ahjumma Lee as well.

"Yes, Ma'am. Young Master and his wife are having fun now." Said the old woman. She was happy to see the young couple begin to approach each other.

She hopes it lasts.
