Her POV
I groaned to the sound of my alarm turning it off and rolling over and out of bed where I threw on some joggers and a small top then opened my door to the smell of pancakes making my mouth water
"What smells so good?"I asked and looked to see my roommate Tom cooking shirtless and wow... we had only been roommates for a couple months and we had gotten quite close but there was a tension between us but I couldn't pinpoint the feeling, I'm sure it was just me anyway.
"Pancakes! You got lessons today?"he asked and I nodded sitting on the stall
"Yea all day! So the apartments yours until 6pm!"I joked and he laughed serving up food
"You?"I asked
"I got 1 at 12 but that's it!"he replied and I smiled as he pushed the plate to me
"Ok well if you do have a party clean up before I get back!"I said sarcastically and he laughed
"Yes mum!"he joked and walked to his room
"Wait you not having any?"I asked
"Nah not hungry!"he said disappearing and I smiled as he just made it for me...but shook the thought off as I cannot fall for him! He's my roommate
"Right I'm off!"I shouted
"Bye have fun!"he joked and I laughed as I walked out and headed to class where I met my friends.
His POV
I had woken up annoyingly early this morning so decided to make pancakes when y/n emerged from her room and she looked well...amazing. We had been living together for a couple months while we're both at uni and we had gotten close but there was a weird almost tension in the air.
She was really sweet and funny not to mention attractive but I can't fall for her as they would complicate everything.
She left which meant I had the place to myself today which I never liked it just felt empty so I just ended up cleaning my room then the living room and kitchen before fixing a light that broke and needed to borrow something from y/ns room so wandered in and it always made me smile,
She had a little photo wall filled with photos of her friends and her from now, in high school and when she was younger. Squeezed in them is a photo of us as well which I hadn't seen before so she must have added it recently making me smile,
It was the day we moved in and we posed with the boxes I told her it was stupid but she didn't care and even though we had just met made us take the photo.
I smiled at the memory before my phone buzzed so I reached over and picked it up,
"You alright mate?"I asked Haz
"You hot lessons today?"he asked
"Nah why?"I replied
"Ok good because I am not impressed with my stupid sociology teacher! I swear to fuck he hates me! Who gets asked all the difficult questions? Me that's who!"he ranted and I laughed
"Well that's what you get for choosing a boring subject!"I replied
"Yea yea...so what are you doing today?"he asked
"Not much!"I replied
"Is your unusually attractive roommate there?"he asked and I rolled my eyes
"Dude!"I corrected I hated when he talked about her like that
"Sorry is y/n there?"he asked I know he was smirking
"No not right now!"I replied and he laughed
"Ok well i have got lessons so I'll talk later! Bye mate!"he replied
