"Yea yea but I don't know if I can't be arsed!"I replied holding the phone to my ear as I started walking before my run,
The run being put off because I'm not looking forward to it, that's why Prim is on the phone to me now about a party
"Cool I'll let you know how it goes!"I replied into the phone before we said our goodbyes and I hung up groaning before walking off mentally deciding to walk...fast-ish
20 minutes later sweat I retied my hair and downed the rest of my water when I got a message from Mia
Mia: the guys are here come over!
Who the guys are I have no idea, why she messaged me? I have no idea. Mia was the popular girl from high school- everyone knew her and she knew everyone and we were in the same friend group but I haven't heard from her in like a year and I've changed since then...
Mia's POV
Callum and James got here after Molly and we all had a couple drinks as they talked about high school,
"You still in contact?"I asked looking at a picture of y/n on her phone and she shrugged
"Eh every now and then."she replied
"She looks so different."I added
"Who?"Callum asked
"Y/n."Molly replied and they gasped
"Oh my god I forgot about her! Invite her over!"James said and I raised an eyebrow
"Yea she was jokes!"they added and I nodded messaging her, they did joke around with her...kinda joke about her
Y/n:huh?
Me: the guys Calum, Molly, James
Y/n: um ok.
She arrived quicker I thought and I expected her to be in jeans or a bit dressed up because she normally does that but she was in these Forrest green leggings with a black top and black zip up jacket.
She did look different and looking at the boys faces they liked it, I shot a glare to them as they stared her up and down
"Hey!"y/n said hugging Molly with a smile
"Hey it's been too long!"molly replied and I smiled at her hugging her glaring at the boys over her shoulder.
She might be prettier but it doesn't mean they won't make fun of her, not that that's what I hoped for at least...
"I know crazy busy!"Y/n added and sat down
"Love the leggings."I said with a smirk
"Thanks they're too green for my liking."she replied and I quickly looked over at the boys
"I like them."James said and she smiled
"Thanks.."awkward I'm guessing waiting for the nickname or comment that never came and they all started talking about random stuff soon to be interrupted by y/ns phone
"Shit sorry....mhm ok, yea I mean it's this evening...I'm sure if you just said I invited you they wouldn't care! Yea just do that but don't invite like 6 other people...mhm yea it's Jakes party so it's a one time favour...I'm kidding but if you guys don't get together I'll be pissed...ok see you then bye."I heard her on the phone to someone
"What's that about?"I asked as she was never the type to get invited to parties or be the main person
"Oh there's a party tonight and my friend Chloe has an enormous crush on the guy hosting who I know so she's now coming too! Actually you guys could come if you wanted?"she said then sighed out of breath standing up
"No I think we have-" other plans tonight but the guys cut me off
"Yea sounds good!"James cut in and I shot him a glare, I guess we're going to a party tonight
