chapter 8!!

Outing with the Suna Family!

First Person (YOU) Point Of View (POV)

Suna seemed... surprised. He was shocked by his daughter's choice of words.

Sure, she has attachment issues, especially towards women... She told me that she grew up without a mother after all, her dad did everything to take care of her and make her feel loved.

She said he never got mad at her for getting attached to women she sees a lot or spends time with like her grandma or some of his friends' girlfriends, having a father is different than having a mother when you are a girl.

When I was younger I loved my dad, but my favorite has definitely been mom, I'd tell her my girl problems and take her advice from a girls side, while dad was just there, being a dad.

Mei adored her dad, whenever we're alone most of the things she'd talk about is her dad, he was playing the mother and father roll to mei and he's sure doing amazing at it.

Suna smiled at his daughter a bit, probably deciding to forget what she said and told mei to get ready so we can go out.

Even though mei getting attached to a teacher is new to him, he dosent seem to mind. I think he'll manage.

Me and Suna were already dressed, so we basically had to sit together alone until Mei finishes dressing up in her room upstairs.

"i suppose you were young when you got mei right? since she's 9 and you're 27 then... you were 18, if you don't mind me asking of course" I started.

"yeah I was 18. I dont regret it though, I love mei, but I regret how it ended." he said, avoiding eye contact.

He seemed to realize something, which made him look up at me while smirking.

"how'd you know how old I am though?" he added.

My face turned red in realization that I just exposed myself, "oh... just some personal research. You told me to do that didnt you?"

"whatever you say y/n". God, the way he said my name.

After a while Mei walked downstairs wearing a comfortable outfit with our matching converse, of course.

She looked pretty as always, the way her hair was flying around her shoulders when she ran downstairs is literally adorable.

Suna complimented his daughter and patted her head, making me smile at the view infront of me.

"Mei and I dont really like going out to restaurants, usually if we wanted to eat out we get take out food and go to a park that has a view of the whole city and eat there, like a picnic thing. Do you mind if we did that?"

This idea was really good, its a way to feel more comfortable instead of a restaurant during rush hours and stuff.

And a bonus for me, I definitely wouldn't miss out a first-time chance to do something as fun as that.

"I dont mind, im not a fan of restaurants much either" I reassured suna with a small smile on my face.

And with that, I found myself in Suna's passenger seat heading over to McDonald's, because Mei hasn't eaten there in "100 years" while Suna mentioned her eating from there about 3 days ago, but thats okay.

We soon got our food after the long driveway path and arrived to the park Suna was talking about. He parked the car and unlocked the doors, opening the door for mei afterwards.

I walked to the front to get a better view to the park, and the sun was about to set. Suna got the blanket he had out of the trunk and put it just at the edge of the hill in order to see the city properly.

"sit down" he said, placing the food bags on the blanket.

I nodded and muttered a quite "thank you" to him and sat down on the blanket and started unpacking our food, handing the two Suna's their meal and opening my own.

"thank you for the food" me and Mei said at the same time. Suna gave us a small smile and we all started eating.

I had a great time, we were throwing jokes here and there and kept laughing at how mei was stuffing the fries in her mouth.

After we finished, Suna collected the bags and threw it in the trash can found in the park.

Later on after chatting about random things and laughing together, Mei announced that she'll be heading to the small playground found there since she saw her seat mate which is her best friend and she called it a "meant to be and fate". It was pretty funny, I used to think of such things like that when I was at her age.

Fate and meant to be, they're something ive always believed in.

Suna looked somewhat uneasy, like something was bothering him.

"Suna? Are you alright?". As much as we weren't close, I would never let someone feel uneasy when im able to help, I'd even listen to strangers if I had to.

"yeah im fine don't worry" he said, still staring at the sunset. He looked so pretty like that, the mixed colors of the sun was coloring his skin. It made him look breathtaking.

"you're not forced to tell me, but ill be here when you need a listener". I said, in which he smiled.

"if we stayed this close, and you kept thinking of me as a dilf maybe then I'd open up" he said, his smile getting wider as he looked at my shocked face.
