chapter 10!!

Opening up.

First Person (RINTAROU) Point Of View (POV).

Its been about 4 months since I met y/n and our relationship became A LOT stronger than before. We've been out together a lot, she slept at my house multiple times (mostly for mei but that's not the point), y/n mei and I even baked cookies together a couple days ago, speaking of mei her education is really well and its going great.

I started to think of her as more than a friend about to weeks ago or something.
Which is honestly weird for me, but I can't resist such a gorgeous and kind girl like her.

But to get to that, I think she deserves to understand me and really know me because she's been nothing but supportive and caring to both me and mei.

Like a wife and mom way.

Here we are, sitting in our usual park after walking her dog Jupiter in the morning. Were sitting on the blanket while mei is running around with Jupiter who she formed a adorable bond with.

I decided to talk to her there due to the place being calming, but I think she noticed that I looked scared anyways.

"rintarou are you okay?" she asked nicely. She's seen and worked with my panic attacks, so she knows what to do.

"not really, there's something I want to talk about with you"

"is the dilf finally gonna confess his powerful love for me?!" she exclaimed, making me laugh like she always does. She always jokes about liking me, but sometimes the tension between us doesn't seem like a joke at all.

"is it okay if I open up right now?". I'm grateful that y/n is understanding and made me take my time to open to her. When she heard my words, she smiled.

"you don't need to ask, do so when you're ready I'm not leaving." she said, rubbing my back.

Lets be honest, talking about your feelings is never easy, because im obviously about to shit myself right now.

"I was 18 when I got elle pregnant with mei, teen hormones and she lied about being on pills to trick me and she didn't want to get an abortion which I was totally fine with. I was okay with the situation we were in, being a dad was something I've always wanted to be. It was really soon to be parents, especially when we were 3rd years and preparing for college but we somehow managed. Mei was born and everything was okay.". I took a stop to breathe, it was surely tiring to talk about it. I looked at y/n to see if she wants me to continue, and she nodded with a smile on her face.

"It happened when mei was 1 year and 4 months old, I was out with my classmates normally and elle was watching mei... They were home alone together for the first time, elle always left mei with me and went out. The day was so normal but when I went home it just..." My voice started trembling and my hand was shaking. breath, rintarou.

Y/n placed a hand over my shaking one, and gave me the sweet smile she always gives, reassuring me that its okay.

"I entered the house and mei was just, screaming loudly. Her voice still rings in my head all the time, its traumatizing. When I ran around the apartment to check whatever was going on... I saw elle and mei was in her lap and she... she was holding a knife, pointing it on mei's throat, its image in my head is just...". I broke down here, mei meant the world to me and all this shit made me feel so bad.

"she started threatening me to not get close and whatever, she said she's gonna take mei and raise her with her other boyfriend that I guess she was cheating on me with but he called her and told her that he didn't want mei nor her because he felt like what he was doing is wrong and broke up with her, so she wanted to kill mei since she was the reason her other boyfriend left her. She wanted to kill our own daughter in front of my face... Then I don't really know how but cops suddenly came in by breaking the door and all, I remember atsumu saying that he heard me begging elle to stop and that he heard mei screaming because he wanted a bathroom break before going off to their own house.He said he opened the door with his own key after hearing the fearful shouting and peaked through and saw what was happening and called cops and things, he kind of saved mei's life and I'm really thankful to have the twins in my life, they helped me through all those 8 years and in what happened because of those 8 years, they're the only ones who know about this... Except mom and dad, which never really supported the idea of mei, but they still whole heartedly loved her since day 1. I never left mei alone ever since except with tsumu and samu, and sometimes my parents. That's why I always keep spare keys with them, I think its safer"

I looked over at y/n and I saw tears running down her face. Shes crying? Why?

She was staring somewhere. I turned around to check what she was looking at and it was mei, she was running around with Jupiter, laughing. She looked so adorable. My daughter is so adorable.

"I feel so guilty for raising her without a mom and that she had to go through all that. I think elle went out of jail 3 years ago, and yeah she isn't dead, I just thought I shouldn't tell mei about this I felt really bad."

"its understandable, I'm so sorry for you... Mei is such a sweet angel and you are an amazing dad she doesn't ever stop talking about how great you are rintarou. Don't worry, I'm here for you and I'm gonna help you and mei with every single thing you need." she said, hugging me tightly.

I hugged her back, it was so sweet, one of the best hugs I've received ever to say the least.

"I love you so much rintarou" she said. Y/n said that. What should I say? I love you too?

"i love you so much more y/n"
