The campfire glowed its raging reds, giving warmth to the two teens.
Teddy and Y/n sat side by side, listening to the fire crackling and the crickets chirping. It was peaceful. That was until the snores of their three friends, Chris, Gordie and Vern broke through the silence.
Teddy imitated them, causing Y/n to burst out laughing. He continued and soon enough she started joining in. Their laughing continued through other conversations and into the night. Teddy and Y/n didn't let their joy stop, even after Gordie yelled at them to quieten down.
Teddy took a long drag of his cigarette. A soft smile appeared on his face.
