A Smile

His laugh brings me warmth
Into the depths of my heart
The way it spreads through the air
Exploding like a powerful bomb

He gave me a nickname
By accident of course, but
He played it off awkwardly
With a smile he pulled without force

With no title on us, him, or me
He is neither friend nor foe, yet
He holds a place in my heart and mind
A nagging thought that pulls a smiles of my own
