I make my way over to the shower to get ready to go to the hard deck. I walk in and see Phoenix getting ready too.
"So... you and Jake?" Phoenix states with a grin on her face.
"No, no, NO. I am not with Jake. I just returned to my old habits for one night. But never again." I say solemnly. Phoenix still has a grin on her face. I don't think she believes me but whatever.
"Oh right, you're still in love with Bradley." she states.
"What? NO WAY." I say with a blush moving onto my cheeks.
"We all always thought that you guys would get together. You were so close."
"First of all, that was like 5 years ago and people change. Clearly he has. He can't even look me in the eyes." Memories flood back to me of how me and rooster used to be, before I fucked it all up.
"Well there is plenty of time for you guys to go back to Bradley and Monica Bradshaw." "Natasha!" I say with a little laugh. She chuckles and we get ready for the bar.
