Author's POV
The sound of youthful laughters fills the playground as the kids scared off because of the child proof ball flying over to their way from the other side.
"Damn they're good at dodging." Atsumu complains with a hiss as he studies the movement of his opponent, literal kids.
"You're being way too competitive you know, it's just a game." You say with a soft laugh, shaking your head at how tensed and serious he was at a not so serious game.
That one kid who surprisingly hits the balk hard was the one to take a ball, and your side of the team prepares yourselves to dodge on whoever he was targeting so as soon as the kid throws the ball on your way you were caught off guard and couldn't dodge at the moment, only preparing for the ball to hit you and call it a day.
But, a few second later you never felt the impact coming your way, opening your eyes you see the back of Atsumu, you frowned before you realize he had catch the ball in his hand, earning for the kid who threw it to groan, stomping his way out of the ground.
"You didn't have to do that, Atsumu-san." You say softly, placing a hand on his shoulder to assure him it was really nothing serious and you think it was better off really that you were out.
"I have to have as many as teammates I can have." Atsumu reasons with you before stretching around to accurately hit the kid, the last kid who was left at the opposing side.
You sighed knowing Atsumu was going to go all out.
"Get ready for this, kid!" He yells out and with that, the ball leaves his hand quite fast.
Seconds later the sound of the ball hitting someone was heard and before you knew it, you were lifted up from the ground with a pair of hands wrapped around your waist in celebration.
"We won!" Atsumu cheers with a laugh, followed by you to also laugh at how hyped up he was.
"Yay!" You can't help but to also move with his excitement. It was too precious to just turn down so as soon as Atsumu brings you down to the ground, both of the smiles on your faces faded as soon as you noticed how close you were to each other; and you instantly backed away.
"That was a nice game." Atsumu exclaims with a nervous laugh and a clear of his own throat.
"Yeah! Why don't we head home?" You suggested and Atsumu almost immediately did he nod his head.
