After retrieving the Holy Lyre from the Fatui, Jean asked Y/N if he could look after Mondstadt while they go collecting more tears. She said that if word got out that the Grand Master and the Vice Commander is unavailable, the Fatui might try something. Y/N agreed that Mondstadt could be in jeopardy if both of them were absent. Besides, he pretty much doesn't want to go running around Mondstadt looking for these tears. Before Y/N left the tavern, Diluc said that if ever they need help, they will call him which he responded with a thumbs-up. So now, Y/N is in his shared office and is looking through all the commission from the people. He sigh

You: Seriously! Why does everyone asked Jean all of these small task? Rescuing a cat from a tree, help painting a house and help with counting taxes. Where the hell are the rest of the knights?!

Y/N throughout his years of life has seen people taking things for granted but this just takes the first place on that list. Jean being a workaholic is bad enough for her health but imagining her worrying about Mondstadt while also doing the smallest of chores to the citizens is a recipe for disaster

You: I think I can see why Diluc said that the knights are inefficient

The door opens causing Y/N to look up to see the Librarian Lisa entered

Lisa: Ara~ Our Vice Commander is working hard today

You: Oh, it's you, Lisa

He set the document aside and look at the electro librarian as she sits comfortably on the couch

You: What do I owe the pleasure to have Ms. Librarian in my shared office?

He said playfully which Lisa giggled

Lisa: My, my. Can I not see how is my cutie doing?

The male raised an eyebrow at that

You: Isn't your cutie, Lumine? You called her by that

He got a giggle as a response

Lisa: Well, can't I call you cutie as well? Besides, this is your first time taking over Jean's work while she's away and thought that maybe I could be of any assistance

She said with a smile on her face but Y/N feels like there's something behind that smile

You: You have something that you want to address to me?

Lisa: A smart one aren't you? Alright, I'll give in if it were to be you, cutie. I just want to know if Jean is in good hands

She said seriously at the last sentence. Y/N could tell that she recently had found out about their relationship and judging from her voice alone indicates that she had also found out about his background. Y/N leans back in his chair

You: You're worried about Jean because of my connections with the Fatui, correct? How I know them about everything, yes?

She nodded still looking serious

Lisa: Jean may be happy right now, but it'll take a while to convince me that you won't do anything to her

You: (It's not like you're the only one...)

Due to his sudden rise in the ranks of the Knight of Favonius, many knights are suspicious about him from his clothes to his background but didn't voice out their opinion. Kaeya is on friendly terms with Y/N seemingly out of respect and a friend, he hasn't talk with Eula personally and can feel that she didn't trust him yet but will comply with orders that benefit Mondstadt, he hasn't met Albedo yet so he's still waiting for the chance, Amber seems to idolised him in some way. Y/N pretty much expect all of this happening and wasn't surprised by the fact that Lisa would be the first to voice out her opinion first well for her friend's sake
