HERMIONE'S eyes lit up when she landed on her home town. she can't explain how she missed spain and how glad she's finally home after years in the states.

after getting her bags and going through security, she was met with her aunt and uncle who was in glee when they were informed she was going home.

"hermione, mi hija! te eche de menos!" her aunt elena exclaimed. while her uncle alejandro was smiling at her with opened arms.

[translation: hermione, my daughter! i missed you!]

the couple hugged her for too long that she had to jokingly pushed them away.

"yo tambien, mama, papa!" she hugged them again before pulling away to grab her luggages.

[translation: me too, mom, dad!]

the three walked together towards her uncle's parked car. alejandro takes her lugagges and put on the trunk of his car before going in with his girls.

hermione grew up to the couple when her mother died during her birth while her dad was unknown. it was a one night stand based on what her mother told her aunt. the couple wasn't blessed with a child due to alejandro being infertile and elena feared child birth after what happened to her sister.

the trip to their home was filled with comforting silence as the girl at the back seat was tired from her flight. elena nod at her husband when they both saw the girl fell asleep. alejandro carried the worn out girl to her old room and gently placing her down.

"everything will be alright, my love. we're here for you. i'm here for you." he softly whispered to the girl and covering her blankets.

the pain in the girl's eyes can be seen faintly that if you don't look close enough you wouldn't even noticed. her uncle grew up observing everyone around him and she was the hardest one that he encountered so far.

she was a happy go lucky girl. she wouldn't bother anyone if she had a problem and most likely find a way to fixed it herself. a happy, strong, kind girl who has her life together, is what she's called.

alejandro exited the girl's room and go back to the car to help his wife pick up hermione's stuff. the couple was silent during the time until they both sat down at their living room. they both look at each other and give each other a small sad smile.

"OH MY LORD," hermione groaned when she sat quickly from her sleep. "never do that again, bitch." she whispered to herself. she take her time to stand up and go straight to her things.

she silently thanked her both parents as she saw all of her things in her room already. she cannot tell how much she's grateful for them. she opened all of them and fixed it to her room.

it wasn't all of her stuff since she can't bring all of them at once so she decided to just fly her important things and sell some. she might go shop some stuff that she decided to sell like her table and her gaming chair.

since her birthday is in three days she'll need to get things done for her streaming set up.

since hermione started streaming, she always goes live half an hour before her birthday and celebrates it with her friends by playing and chatting. seeing she's in spain right now, there will be changes but not much.

after three or four hours, she decided to go downstairs to just get some water before going back to her room again. her parents nowhere as she was asleep for she don't know long.

she sat on her bed and look at her things she hasn't moved or fixed to its place yet before looking at her window. she stared at the moon silently asking what would she do now.

"HERMES," aunt elena shaked the sleeping girl, waking her up. the girl hasn't eat since she arrived in spain and the older woman getting worried. it's nearly twelve in the afternoon.

"luke, five minutes, please..." the girl whispered. elena visibly froze at her spot, sadly looking at her daughter.

"hermione, mi hija, wake up." finally, the girl woke up, facing her. the girl stared at her for a very long time before smiling brightly.

"mama! i'm hungry!" hermione exclaimed as she hug her mother, pouting.

elena giggled at the girl. "you haven't ate anything since you arrived here, hija. it's nearly lunch and your papa is waiting downstairs, let's go?"

the girl just hummed before letting elena go and goes to her bathroom. elena just shook her head before going out.

hermione stared at her face in the mirror, questioning her existance. negative thoughts started to creep in her mind. she shook her head and do her morning routine.

as she entered the dining room, she was welcomed by the aroma of their breakfast and her parents randomly talking.

she sat down on one of the chair and greeted her parents. they silently ate their breakfast but throwing each other some question and making some small talk.

"dad, can we go to ikea to get some furnitures i'll be needing?" she absentmindly asked.

"yes, sure, sweetheart." her dad answered and looked at his wife, "do you want to come, hon?" he silently asked her.

elena just shook her head, "unfortunately, i can't. i have something to do in the shop and have some deliveries to made. but, please, take care you two, okay?"

"si, mama."

"of course, hon."
