Chapter 32: Matt gonna win this time

Matt's POV

I'm going to get her, I'm going to win her back.

I was determined to get Layla back, I wanted her back, I needed her back, she was all I wanted.

It's been almost a month since Nash and Layla broke up, of course I was jealous of there relationship. I wanted that, I wanted that so bad.

It was somehow, Taylor had told Nash that Layla was cheating on him, Taylor obliviously faked a picture saying that Layla was out with another guy.

Nash didn't want to hurt Layla, he told her it was done, he could do no more.

It was my chance, my chance to help, my chance to win her back.

"Layla, did you hear about this cool new place, it's a small cafe were they make all these cool tropical smoothies, and it has these delicious pastries, you wanna go?"

"Yeah sure, let me call my mom first though"

I waited for Layla to call her mom. I thought about asking Layla for a date, but I have to give her time, time so she can heal.

"Alright let's go" Layla interrupted my thoughts,

We arrived at the place, it looked really nice.

"Welcome to the Groovy Smoothie! How may I help you?"

"Um, I'll get a blueberry mixed smoothie" I asked

"And I'll have a pineapple and strawberry smoothie" Layla asked

"Is that all?"

We both said yes,

"Just go wait at the side please"

We went to the "side", I looked out of the window right beside us, until Layla asked me something,

"Matt?"

"Yeah"

"Are we good friends now?"

"Of course, what made you think that?"

"Well all the thing has happened, and I thought we were just normal friends"

"Well we're close" I chuckled
