"TELL ME AGAIN." A lot was going on around them―Eleven had a piece of The Mind Flayer stuck in her leg chittering around with her flesh sizzling because of it and had to take it out using her powers, Hopper and his little crew had arrived and squished the creature and each group were filling each other in on what they had found out in the last few days and coming with a plan to get rid of this threat―but Maria's sole focus was on her younger brother. Over and over, she kept telling him to repeat it as she hung off every single word. Lizzie was beside her but she hadn't said a thing. Not a single word.
"This is the sixth time―"
"Say it again," Maria interrupted. Her voice was calm but she was anything but. She was practically seething with rage but was trying very hard to erupt on Brian who was looking around hopelessly.
"Maria," Lizzie said softly, lacing their fingers together to try and ease her fears. "Please, stop. He's said it six times now, isn't that enough for you―"
"Bella is gone!" Maria yelled, pulling her hand away from Lizzie's as she took a step back, her words echoing around the mall and heads turned their way but Maria didn't care as she glared at her. "Do you not care!?"
