I wake up and look at the clock. 9:30. It's Saturday and we have our first game today. I walk downstairs and grab some toast. When I walk into the living room Johnny is sitting there.
-What are you doing here?
-Just came to make sure our star quaterback is going to be at the game
-Of course I am
-Ok, just making sure
I sit down and we watch TV for a while. Then Johnny leaves so he can go change into his football uniform. I go into my room and change. It gets really sweaty under these pads. Johnny comes over again because we are giving him a ride to the game. I look behind him. The girl who lives across the street from us, Jessica, is the most popular girl in school and would do anything to bring me down. If she finds out that I play on the football team, she would tell everyone. I quickly put my helmet on and run to the car. Luckily she doesn't see me. Johnny gets in too. Then my parents come and we are off to the football field.
