Prologue

Prologue: Angel Dust

At the Hazbin Hotel formerly named the Happy Hotel, Alastor & Charlie were talking in her office

"So, what was it you wanna talk to me about, Al?" Charlie said

"I want to talk to you about some conditions regarding this hotel." Alastor said

"Conditions?" Charlie repeated

"Yes, you see, if you're going to run a hotel, you need more staff members like bellhops, cooks, waiters or waitresses, & more housekeepers." Alastor explained

"I know, but it's hard to find good employees nowadays since most of the people here in Hell care about being paid." Charlie said as she sighed "Besides, I doubt anyone would want to work at the hotel."

"Now let's not lose hope, my dear." Alastor encouraged "I'm sure there's a few people who are desperate to find a job & this hotel will obviously be their last option."

"Yeah..." Charlie said feeling unsure

"How about hiring Angel Dust?" Alastor asked

"Angel?" Charlie said confusingly

"Why yes, I'm certain there are other things he's good at other than being a prostitute." Alastor said "While we're at it, why don't we have the staff live here while they work? I can set up several rooms for our current & future employees."

"That's a good idea." Charlie said

"Now, let's get started." Alastor said

"Alright, I hope this works." Charlie said hopefully

So Alastor had put an ad in the paper while Charlie, Vaggie, & Niffty hung up Help Wanted fliers. After they were done with that, Alastor went to Angel's room.

"Angel?" Alastor said as he knocked on the door

"Yes?" Angel responded from the other side of the door

"Will you come to Charlie's office, we want to have a word with you." Alastor said

"Yeah, sure, just give me a minute." Angel said

"Splendid." Alastor said as he left

A few minutes later, Angel went to Charlie's office.

"Look, Charlie, whatever it is, I didn't do it." Angel said

"Oh no Angel, you're not in trouble." Charlie said

"Then, what did you wanna talk to me about?" Angel asked as he took a seat

"Angel, how would you like to be our new staff member?" Alastor said

"Wait, you mean like work here?" Angel said

"Yes, are you interested?" Alastor said

"Sure." Angel said

"Angel, are there any other things you are capable of? Like, can you cook?" Charlie asked

"Oh, I can definitely cook." Angel said

"Great, cause the hotel's gonna need you to cook for the guests" Charlie said

"Okay, but if I'm gonna start working here, I might need something in return." Angel said

"What's that?" Charlie asked "Is it money?"

"No, it's not money, it's protection." Angel said

"Protection? From who?" Charlie said

"From my boss, Valentino." Angel said "The reason why I want to be redeemed & go to Heaven is to be free from him, he doesn't treat me very well."

"Don't fret, Angel, I have a way to protect you from Valentino." Alastor said as an old fashioned radio appeared in his hand "You see this radio?"

"Yeah, what about it?" Angel said

"You see, I have the ability to sense when others are about to be harmed, taken, in danger, or if someone broke into someone's room or place with the help of this radio & my staff." Alastor explain

"Does it work?" Angel asked

"Why yes, whether I'm asleep or out doing something, you'll be alright." Alastor assured

"Okay, I'll take your word for it." Angel said

"Do you think we can put those radios in the other rooms of the hotel, Al?" Charlie asked

"Of course." Alastor nodded
