NAT pov:

As I was running and running, I accidentally ran into someone, and we both fell on the path me on top of them.

Qué diablos, mira por dónde vas! "The person yells at me in Spanish, I think.

(What the hell, watch where you going)

„OMG, I am so sorry, I didn't mean to. "I quickly get off them and help them up.

Our eyes met and I was met by a brown-eyed girl, who I knew from somewhere.

„ Está bien, lo siento por gritarte. "Okay, so I didn't understand her a shit.

She musted seen my confusion so she switched to English.

„ Oh, sorry you probably don't speak Spanish. "She smiles.

„It's okay, again I am so sorry for running into you. "I smile back.

„ I am María León, but you can call me Mapi. "Omg, she is the hot Barcelona defender.

„Oh, I am Natalia Jain, but call me Nat. "We shake hands and sit down on the nearest bench.

„ You play for England, don't you? Football I mean. "She asked after a few minutes.

„Yeah, you play for Barcelona and Spain...Big fan by the way. "

„Thanks, anyway why were you running? "

„ It's a long story, you probably have better things to do. "She looked at me with questions in her eyes but probably assume I didn't want to talk so she let it be.

After another few minutes of silence, I started to feel the weight in my pocket. I knew exactly what it was. The thing I promised I would never be touched again. Cigarettes.

My hand automatically slides into my pocket, but I froze when Mapis's hand touched my wrists.

„ Look I know we don't know each other, but I don't think that thing will help anything right now... "she said with sympathy in her voice. No one ever said this to me. Everyone just tried to take them away from me and screamed at me for it. I remembered when Leah first finds out about it...

I was sitting outside on a small balcony in the hotel room where I was rooming with Leah. She went outside with the girls; I didn't go I was too tired to deal with Daly or Bronze. Another thing was probably that my family died last week. Yeah, so not really in the mood for a goofy party or drinks.

I knew cigarettes for athletes are not good in any way, but I didn't know what else to do at this point.

It started right after their death. Well...first were pills on sleep, but I was too tired to train so the trainers would find out soon or later, so I switched to vodka which wasn't the best idea either. I hate the headache or vomiting from it so, the only things that were still an option were drugs or cigarettes. I would never do drugs other than sleeping pills, so I choose cigarettes.

You can play the song Cigarette Duet, and some of it its lyrics from it.

I lighted up the third one in a row when the balcony door flew open and mad and little drunk Leah came into the picture.

„ Nat what are you doing? "She asked kind of terrified.

„ It's just a cigarette and it cannot be that bad. "

„ Yes, it can, and it harms your pretty lungs. "

„ Well, it's only twice a week so there's not much of a chance. "

„ Nat you need to stop this, it'll soon be only ten. "

„ Leah, can't you trust me? When I want to stop I can. "

„ No, Nat you will become addicted to that shit. Give it to me! "Leah said with a threat in her voice.

„ No, leave it alone Leah. "I said burning the cigarette and throwing it into the bin next to me.

„ Nat, I swear to God if you don't give me the package, I will call Rachel.... Please I don't want to see your death or stop running because your lungs can't take it anymore, so please don't ruin your life with this shit. "Leah said with almost tears in her eyes.

„ Okay, fine, here, but Leah minds your own business my life ended right after my family died so I AM SORRY, THAT I CAN'T COPE ANYMORE. "I throw the cigarettes at her and walked out of the room.

„Damn...that's hard, sorry for your parents. "Mapi says and I realized I was talking out loud.

„ Yeah, thanks but I need to go now, it was nice to meet you. "I said standing up and hugging Mapi. Then I started walking towards the stadium where we train.
