You are probably wondering why did Fiona divorced sherk??
It's because Fiona fell in love with a other man and fell out of love with sherk and she felt like it would just be best if she just divorced him....
Now sherk is all alone now in his swamp, he's always crying in his bed and can't stop thinking about Fiona...
Donkey and puss always comes to sherks swamp everyday to try and cheer him up but they never succeed. They once tired to see him up with someone but sherk didn't seem to be interested. So they gave up and barely even came to visit sherk anymore.
Sherk was devastated that his best friends weren't visiting him anymore
