Ice Cream Special

It's been about a day since Mei asked me to take her on a date.

"GOOD MORNING, CAP-!"

Kiana burst into my room and noticed I was already up and ready.

"Ah, Captain was already awake... how unusual." Kiana teased.

"Yeah..."

"Hm? Captain? Are you going out today?" Kiana asked.

I was changed into a casual outfit rather than my usual captain uniform.

"Is today your date with Mei?"

"How do you that..." I asked 

"Well... Mei and I happened to talk the other once I got my head together that morning. She gave me a good talking to..." 

I can imagine Mei not being too happy with what we did. But then that still leaves me wondering why Mei wanted to go out with me today.

"Captain, I... I don't mind you going on a date with Mei." 

Kiana sounded hesitant. I gave her a smug look.

"Are you sure?" 

She cleared her throat.

"W-Well, I guess I would be lying if I said I wasn't jealous that Mei gets to have you for the day..."

I hope this doesn't get out of hand someday...

"So, um- Is there anything I need to keep in mind when I'm going out with Mei?" I questioned.

Kiana thought about it for a second.

"Well, nothing that I can think of at the top of my head. Maybe don't pounce on her as you did to me~" Kiana giggled.

"Oh, please-" I shook my head.

I headed downstairs where Mei was already waiting in her casual outfit for the day. Now that I thought about it, I don't think I've ever seen Mei with semi-revealing clothes. Her bare legs were out of this world. 

"Captain? Are you ready?"

I quickly looked up.

"O-Oh, yeah."

"Captain, are you alright? Can you not go out today?" Mei asked.

"No, it's not that. It's just that you're gorgeous...today."

Mei blushed and looked away.

"W-What are you saying all of a sudden?" Mei seemed happy about that compliment. 

"Well, we're off." 

"Good luck, Mei!" Kiana gave a wink and thumbs up.

"Kiana-" Mei got flustered.

Mei and I got into my car and drove off the Hyperion ship.

"Wow, this car is nice." Mei was amazed.

"Well, when you're the captain of the valkyries, it tends to pay off." 

We drove around for a few minutes. I thought about I place we could go but I wanted to save that for the end of the date.

"Is there anywhere you want to go Mei?" I asked.

"Hm, we could go to a mall," Mei replied.

"Alright." 

We drove near an area where people with a bit of wealth seem to thrive. As we drove slowly to admire the scenery, we came across the massive super mall with a glass dome design. 

"Woah, you don't see those every day..." I was astonished.

Mei giggled in amusement. 

After we parked, we decided to take a stroll in the shopping mall to see what they had to offer. Upon entering the mall, I was blown away by how massive the building was.
