It's only just a crush it'll go away

The way it felt right

  Steve's house was bigger than Eddie expected,he knew Steve was rich but not this rich .
"You can sleep in my room I can take the couch"
"Nah Harrington I'll take the couch  I don't think I'll be sleeping much tonight anyway " eddie said as he sat on the couch .Steve goes upstairs and comes back with a first aid kit .
"Come here," Steve says as he sits on the couch.Steve take a q-tip and dips some hydrogen peroxide on it  and places it in the cut on eddies face.
"Ow-that shit burns" eddie winced as the liquid foamed in the cut
"Your fine" Steve said as he cupped Eddie cheek ,he applyed more of the peroxide

After they where done bandaging each other up Steve took a shower and gave Eddie some clothes so Eddie could take a shower.

When Eddie came back from the bathroom he found Steve on the couch watch grease. Steve got a few looks from  Eddie
"What? Like I said  it's a guilty pleasure"

Eddie rolled his eyes and joined him on the couch
"You know you remind me of this character from The book IT"
"You read?"
"It's a guilty pleasure"
"Who do I remind you of?"
" well you remind me of this character  Eddie kasbrak ,we'll you just reminded me of him when you tended to my wounds" Eddie joked
"Well Ive never read that book so I have no idea what your talking about .what character would you be ?"Steve asked
"Richie ,definitely"Eddie laughed so did Steve.
Steve was nervous and he did then only thing he could think of,
"Hey I'll be right back " Steve said as he got up .as soon as he was out of sight he rushed to the phone
"Pick up  pick up pick u- robin?  I'm having a crisis like code red!"steve whispered yelled into the phone.
"Calm down Steve what is going on"
"So I went to drop off Munson and Jason was waiting for him  so I took him to my house and now where sitting on my couch watching grease" Steve could hear Robin laugh form the other side
" he must really like you if he's watching grease with you" Robin laughed
"Focus,Robin. What do I do "

"Okay, do you really like him"

"Of course ,you know that"

"Okay , then tell him that ,dingus!"

" I tried on the Ferris wheel but then we spotted Jason"

"YOU GUY WENT ON THE FERRIS WHEEL TOGETHER!?,my plan worked better than expected" Robin said

"What-this was part of your plan?"

" not all of it I just to told Dustin to go with Lucas and them so you to could have some alone time ,if you know what I mean"

Steve rolled his eyes and  sighed

"What are you waiting for go tell him lover boy!"

"FINE okay you win I'll tell him BYE" he said through clenched teeth

Steve hung up and went back to where he was sitting on the couch.

"Hey uh eddie can I take to you about something" Steve shifted nervously towards Eddie  and Eddie did the same
"Yeah ,of course"
" I-uh really like someone in the group and I don't know how to tell them.uh how would I do it"
Eddie faced looked a tad bit disappointed but he wanted to help so
"Well what I'd do is -actually I have no idea ,Harrington you've dated tons of girls,just use your Harrington charm"
Steve looked at Eddie and then at the ground.
" this person I like isn't like other people I've dated and I don't think my charm is going to work,if you know what I mean"
the realization hit Eddie

"Oh I see  ,what makes you like them so much and just tell them that "
Steve shifted again and look at Eddie and back at the floor

"Well ,they always make me laugh even when  it's stupid, they care a lot about people around them but they try to hide it, he thinks that that he's a coward but he's one of the bravest guys I've ever met"
Steve felt a hand cup his cheek and before he knows it eddie is kissing him.He slides hand to the base of Eddie neck. They break the kiss  for some air.
"I really hope you where talking about me,because if not-" Eddie laughed
"I was talking about Johnathan" Steve said deadpan. Eddies face dropped from a a smile to embarrassment
"Oh"
Steve started to laugh
"I'm kidding I was talking about you , dumbass " Eddie face went back to a smile . Eddie started to kiss Steve's face repeatedly bouncing from his cheek to his nose to his lips.
" okay-ok I need to tell you something." Steve exclaimed as he stopped Eddie.
"Eddie I really like you and I've liked you for some time and I didn't even think I liked guys until you-" Eddie gave a dramatic gasp
"I WAS YOUR GAY AWAKENING" Eddie yelled, then continued
"I am flattered and flattery works on me harr-Steve ,so 100% off weed for you my majesty" eddie and Steve laughed, Eddies hand snaked around Steve's shoulders and Steve smiled and scouted closer to him ,Steve laid his head on eddies shoulder.Eddie tilted his head on Steve.
"Y'know ive actually liked you for a long time now" Eddie whispered gaining a confused look from Steve
"Yeah, Henderson talk about you like you were some kind of knight . I mean I didn't believe that for one second,man " Eddie smiled
"But then , you jumped into that goddamn lake , I Amit that was awesome and kinda hot-" Steve laughed at that statement.
" but when I started to actually like you is when you took that bite out of that bat,man that was so crazy, and it completely shattered the whole 'jocky asshole' person I though you were" Eddie confessed.
Steve brought his hand up and cupped Eddie face , and kissed him, Steve peppered  Eddie with kisses like the stars did the night sky.

They both fell asleep on the couch, Steve laying on eddies chest with their hands intertwined. The way it was meant to be ,Steve 'the hair' Harrington woven between Eddie 'the freak' Munson , the way it felt right.
