"You and Jeno is slowly becoming like those two..." the boyfriends commented, referring to jaemin and jisung laughing their hearts out in their own little world
Chenle turned to where the duo were sitting and smiled at himself thinking how adorable they looked, staring at each other fondly.
But he quickly replace his smile with a neutral expression to avoid getting teased by the couple "We're not! Jeno and I were just... Friends." he answered
Narrowing their eyes in suspicion, donghyuck and renjun is pretty sure that their friend and housemate were more than just enemies who become friends eventually, noticing how kind jeno is to the chinese male.
Don't get them wrong, the said male is so kind to them as well but if you compare the way jeno treats chenle and the two of them were just noticeably different.
Not to mention, those subtle affectionate actions that is shared in between the two didn't fail to catch the lovers' eyes.
"Ahhh...friends? So, being unbelievably close with your friends is normal now huh? Ahhh yes, That's a great homie attitude right there!" said the older of the couple
The younger chinese male rolled his eyes at the couple then he mentally smirk as he think of something to tease them.
"Ahhhhh...yes! Same could be said for you two and minhyung hyung!"
The teasing expression the lovers had turned into nervous one in a snap, chenle wouldn't tell it but he could see that the oldest surely had some thing for his friends.
"H-He's still annoying!" renhyuck said in sync, trying to maintain a sassy look on their faces
"Really?"
"Yes, him and his seagull brows is annoying!"
"You're talking about minhyung again..."
The three males put their attention to jeno who came and immediately plopped himself right next to chenle who let out a tiny smile at the presence of the older around. Then renhyuck teasingly cleared their throats up as that little grin did not go unnoticed by them.
"Why would we talk about your brother? He's annoying like a flying cockroach!" the younger of the couple stated, his eyes widen seeing renjun transferring his food on its own food bowl "Bitch! That's mine, why did you take that!"
Renjun sticks out his tongue on his boyfriend then munch the food wholeheartedly "It's mine now!" he retorted, sticking his tongue out on the tanned male once more
"Bitch!"
"Your one and only."
"I hate you!"
"You love me."
Jeno chuckled at the couple's bickering while glancing at the chinese male sitting next to him then sneakily slide his hands underneath the table and interlaced his fingers with chenle's, squeezing it right after making the younger smile.
Holding chenle's hand has been one of the most favorite things that jeno does lately, simply because he just loves it. He loves the way their hand fits as if they were a puzzle piece.
"Are you really boyfriends?" the eye-smile male asked, smiling at the couple who were playfully punching each other like kids
"Why would you think we're not? Because we're not kissing in front of everybody?" the tanned male asked, squinting his eyes at jeno
"I mean, the you two talk with each other... You know, jisung and jaemin converse more like boyfriends than the two of you."
"That's because it isn't our thing, duhhh! Bickering is our love language." the older chinese answered, wiggling his brows at the two "Try to ask chenle about it..."
