"Are you okay, chenle?" renjun asked with worried expression "Why don't you eat first? You haven't eaten anything since early this morning..."
The couple looks at each other with a concerned expression on their faces; if the younger chinese is not whimpering his heart out, he was just staring at his other half who is still laying unconscious on the hospital bed.
It also worries aera whose presence is yet to be found as she went to korea for some important matters. Yes, the girl is updated with the male even if she's away.
Ever since chenle arrived at the hospital, he rarely left jeno to look after the said male. He only go one time when he needed some clothes, so he went to the older's apartment to get some, as well as the time that the kittens ran out of food.
Renjun, Donghyuck, and Mark were the one who's looking after snow and summer most of the time while their parents are not around.
"I'm okay, you can go ahead now, donghyuck hyung, renjun ge." he said, chenle gently brush the hair hanging on jeno's face
"Chenle..."
Letting out sad smile at the two, chenle shake his head as response, he knows that the older males are just concerned about him but looking at jeno's situation...
He don't think he could just leave the older like that.
He wants to be there once jeno woke up.
When the boyfriends left the room, chenle then started to cry again, hoping and begging that maybe the next minute, jeno will open his eyes and wipe all his tears away.
"Wake up, jen... I missed you so bad!" he could barely pronounce each word properly due to his emotions "Summer and Snow missed you too, they are looking for you!"
"Mom, Dad, and Mark hyung, they are also waiting for you to get up there and spend time with you! please, jen... we still have long way ahead of us..."
Chenle looked at his lover with a gentle eyes then stand up and plant a gentle kiss on its exposed forehead.

The people staying outside of jeno's room let out a sigh of relief as finally, they convinced chenle to go home.

They also made sure that he go home with company that is why they asked for markrenhyuck to go with him and make sure he'll feed himself and get enough sleep.
The married couple almost begged for chenle to take a rest as they could see the exhaustion in his eyes with his attempt to force a little smile towards them. Their heart also goes to the boy as he's been apologizing to them non-stop for what happened.
"Jeno, you get up there, dimwit! mrs. lee called out, earning a snort from mr. lee
"Honey, why are you still calling our son that name? he's in comma, for pete's sake!" mr. lee responded
"Are you offended? I mean... no doubt he's your son..."
"HONEY!"
"Shhhhhhhhh!" the woman put his attention back to the sleeping male "Lee Jeno, is this your way to make up for your lack of sleep in the past? such a bad strategy! Wake up as soon as possible, I can't take seeing you like this..." mrs. lee said, holding her tears back
"Your mom's right, jeno, it feels horrible seeing you sleeping this long!"
The married couple stared at the boy for a few seconds before taking another deep breath.
"You know our heart aches for chenle too, gosh... your guy has been apologizing to us since we arrived!" mrs. lee said in frustrated tone "He barely had enough sleep and looks really stressed."
"That is why you need to get up there and take care of him in return!" mr. lee added
Well, despite them throwing some jokes to lighten the atmosphere, it doesn't mean they're not angry for the happened.
If they were bad people, they would have plan a revenge for their son.
But thankfully, karma is fast moving that they do not even have to make a move.

Two days later...
It was another day in the hospital and as usual, chenle is there to take care of his other half who looked at little better than the past few days. Some of his wounds starts to heal, and his face seems a little more like himself.
So is chenle...
The chinese male looks a little more than bright as he made an effort to look like his usual self. He wants to look presentable if jeno would woke up today.
But his eyes did not change though...
It is still the same sad eyes he had when he left for korea.
"Hey... You know when I take a rest, I was waiting for the good news that you already wake up... bubble headed jerk, you still didn't wake up."
While chenle is carefully wiping damp towel on the older's skin, his brows furrowed when he felt that something was somewhat strange. His eyes squinted noticing that jeno's fingertips was trying to move upwards.
"Jeno..." chenle called, rubbing both of his eyes harshly to see if his vision are not fooling him "Jeno?"
No, his eyes aren't fooling him.
The chinese male quickly run outside of the room to inform everyone about what is happening at the moment.
"Are you sure, chenle?" mr. and mrs. lee asked earning an enthusiastic nod from the chinese, looking surprised at the information chenle just delivered
Their friends had their jaw dropped while trying to take a glance at the male who is still asleep inside.
"We will call the doctor!" jaemin and jisung said with the same enthusiasm, running their way quickly not minding the things people around them are saying
Chenle came running back quickly to jeno's room wearing a genuine smile on his lips, his tears started to roll down again as he face the latter, couldn't feel more happier at the view of his lover slowly waking up right before his very eyes.
"L-Lele..."
"Jen!" the chinese male quickly throws himself into the older's arms, how he missed the warmth in its hugs, chenle then quickly parted from the heartwarming position to have a full view of jeno who had his eyes wide open
"Y-You came b-back?" jeno asked softly, lifting his one arm carefully to reach for the younger's face, wiping the tears streaming down its face
"I did..." chenle gulped as he snuggle on the touch, the older continues to wipe his tears and he started to melt from those gentle caress "I told you I'll come back when everything is already alright."
