Jiwoon's POV :

The university is situated 8 minutes away from home by feet, tho it was switched to double, sometimes triple, as we stroll down the streets, having some quality conversations not paying attention to the evening sun catching down our shadows, or the dry and loose powdery snow, formed in collections of saturated crystals drafting arcticlly embracing our heads, the duration had always seemed momentary and brief.

However, the d-day arrived without getting the collegian's consent, the 24 hours long period that stressed out more than half the students, the conclusion of a whole year of studying, I wasn't a straight A student, nor was I the worst type, it doesn't really matter whether you get a good mark or not when you're an art major student, because, we don't have the same tastes, every and each human have a completely different sphere, mindset, preferences, and the professor sometimes misses the idea, they won't be always getting our point, only teaching your the basics and the rest? For you to fill, for your imagination and creativity to empreint, that's what I like the most about my department, you just express yourself through a work of art, you let out your emotions through a masterpiece, that doesn't fail to portray them to the audience.

We were in the heart of the college, we just had to walk down a long, imposing hallway to get to the wide board hanging in the majestic light-grey wall, separating the amphitheater and the calming corridor, and even if my emotions weren't fully displayed on my face, as we simply moved down the big corridors, making a way through the walkers, possibly thinking casually about how creepy it is, my guts kept twitching in a way I cannot explain, with a pounding heart, shifting my weight from one foot to the other, we're finally there, the board hung high a bit so I couldn't find my name there, luckily, Yeosang used his bodybuilt to eventually bring peace to our minds, to wake up from the current nightmare, and to finally embrace summer holidays.

Ah, why am I so invested in this. I thought under my breath, sometimes I just need to stop overreacting, it benefits me no good but only adds spices to my anxiety, feeding my pessimistic side, devouring the healthy mental shield I'm slowly building. And to be honest, I find myself oftentimes thinking about the negative outcomes instead of the bright positive ones, measuring each consequence, comparing them to what would possibly happen in the future, making a strategy - as I thought - being realistic, but sometimes thinking realistically drowns you in the empty dark blue ocean that we fear so much, we - at that moment - need to dream, we search for the smallest light in the dark cave but nothing seems to come to vision, to enlighten our foggy mind, and just like that, you're a grown-up who's living in the future you once dreamed of, or you once brushed it off your mind ignoring the fact that, that future depends on what you do in the present, the reason why I slowly found myself drowning in the salt chuck, unable to float to the surface.

Narrator's POV :

The exam results are out, Yeosang didn't even bother, being the confident man he is, he acclaimed his work - in a good way -, highly praising his efforts, Jihwan, on the other hand, was the one being silent, which is pretty impressive, and definitely rare, Jiwoon would've been having the time of her life with Jihwan's calmness, but right now, she was the one being sarcastic, all of a sudden, tables turn in the tense times.

The girls stood away from the wave of students standing before the board facing their back to the other extremity of the wall, the morning sun pouring through the wide windows warming their back, while Yeo was devoured by the crowd, he vanished a moment before walking back to their direction warily. This is it-the big moment, the man with the news stood before them facing the floor for a moment, and if their day wasn't bad, right now, they felt as if they were dragged to the nadir, that didn't last for long, as Yeosang lifted his head high nose in the air, bursting once again with confidence, the girls watch optimistically as he says
