Rattled civilians looked up to the giant digital billboard that survived the chaos. Television displays turn on and show the same thing that the billboard reveals. It was Dabi on the screen, sitting on a worn-out couch, flaunting his scars. He wasn't wearing a shirt.
"Damn it...." Yuko cusses, and she turns to Twice. "Go back to fighting."
"But Toga–"
"She's gone, Twice!" Yuko exclaims and rubs her arm against her eyes. "But I'm sure she wouldn't want her death to be in vain. We can't just lose after her death—we just can't."
Twice winces and looks down at Toga's lifeless body. He was only a clone, so he doesn't remember how Magne died. Looking at Toga reminded him of her and the glimpse of hope that Magne and Toga wanted to see.
Yuko was right. If they lost, what purpose was their death?
Twice bites his lower lip and stands up. "I'll go back now."
Yuko forces a smile. "I'll take care of her. Let's win this, Jin."
Twice's eyes widen at the name that Yuko used. He feels his chest wringing, and he grits his teeth as if suppressing the pain in his chest. Twice nods at her and swiftly turns around to leave the rooftop. Once he left, Yuko rested her tired eyes on Toga. Yuko gives the lifeless girl one last tight hug.
