Lucas told me he was dating Sydney.
Another thing to cry about. He just
looked like he had some interest in me.
why am I Surprised who would like
Maxine Mayfield .I'm just a stupid
girl who gets her hopes up easily. I
see why Troy hates me.
I spit out 3 words to Lucas,
"Oh... uhm.. c-congrats" my voice
cracked. I give will a glance
and head over to the teacher.
"I- uh- can I got to the restroom"
I say battling the tears. "You

are you okay?" my teacher asks.
"Sickness" I lie."oh okay go

I head past the classes and walk
to my locker. Yes I just lied to
my teacher about having to use
the bathroom.

I walk to Mrs. Jones the nurses office, "Hi" I say to Mrs. Jones. " hello what can I do for you Maxine?"Mrs.Jones says .
" I'm not feeling very well and I would like to call my mom and Will Byers to go home with me."okay! Go ahead" she says . I always felt

Hey mom, can you call the
office to come pick me up
but I'll just leave on my
skateboard.
Mom
Sure. Is everything okay?
Max
yeah I just don't feel like
being here anymore. Wills gonna
come over also so could you tell
the office to send him down also.
his mom said it's fine with her.
Mom
okay honey. See you
when I get off you may be Sleep.
Max
thanks mom. Love you
I hang up and thank Mrs. Jones and walk
back to my locker. Will came Waking out the
class room after I finished calling her. Will hugged me so hard and I just broke.
After awhile I had no more tears left to cry. I told Will about my mom calling the office to get us.
I told Will to wait for me at my locker
for a minute. I walk into the bathroom
and looked at myself. "God I look a
hot mess" I say to myself.
my hair was messy, my eyes were
burning red. And my sleeves were covered
in tears. I quickly splashed some water
on my face and walked out the bathroom.
Me and Will walked back in and Lucas
started to talk to us as we sat down.
"Max ...I-I" will cut him off,"no save
it Lucas, your NOT sorry you still don't
know what the fuck you did to her" will said
through gritted teeth.
Will tells me to come on and we move
to his desk. Will cursed under his breath
about Lucas. Me and Will Waited for
the office to call and get us.
We talked about what we were
gonna do when we got to my house.
I for once smiled.Lucas walked over
But luckily the office called and we all
froze.
My teacher announced,"Will
and Max your leaving". Me and Will
grabbed our stuff and left not considering
whatever Lucas had to say at this point.
Lucas Sinclair, your dead to me.
