I woke up to the bright light
beaming inside the window.
At first I was confused as to
where I was.

But the everything flooded into
my mind like a river. I sigh and
get up from the bed. I head to the
bathroom and brush my teeth as

Steve  walked into the room and
I quickly paused the music  and wiped
my eyes."hey uh max" he says from
Outside of the bathrooms door.

"Yeah what's up Steve?" I say trying to
cover the lump in my throat."I  made
breakfast and Robin is here also if you
wanna talk to her" Steve says in a calm
manner.

"Uh okay I'll be down I'm a second." I say.
I hear Steve's foot steps walk away from
the door and I hear the main door close.

I have a massive headache so I look
in the cabinet from some Advil, Tylenol
anything. I finally find some and take a
hand full of water to push down the pill.

I walk out the bathroom  and put my hair in a
Low bun before walking downstairs. I make
It to the kitchen and see robin stuffing her face with eggs and eggos.

"Damn robin slow down your gonna
choke" Steve Says rolling his eyes.
"Look who decided to join us" robin
says with her mouth full of food"

I hug myself as  I awkwardly walk
to the table and slide into the seat.
Steve brings over a plate full of
eggs and eggos and bacon.

I start to eat when Steve sits down
to eat also. Robin already devoured
her food. I was eating and I heard the
phone ring. Steve answered it.

"Yes this is the Harringtons" he said in
a annoyed voice which made me and
robin giggle. "Steves eyes widened.
He turned to me and mouthed,

"It's Sinclair..." I completely froze.
Robin was just starting at me and
then at Steve. " he's asking if she's
here at my place" Steve mouths.

"Say no" I mouth back. Steve makes
up this lie and rolls his eyes. "Okay bye
hope you find her" Steve says with a
eye roll. He hangs up the phone.

How am I gonna deal with
this. And how will I avoid
Lucas Sinclair tomorrow at school
