FINN'S EYES FLUTTERED OPEN his arm reaching for adelaide only to find her side if the bed empty he sat up a look of confusion on his face
finn looked towards the digital clock on his nightstand 4:21
"adelaide?" he said quietly pulling on his grey sweatpants and a black nirvana shirt he walked towards the bathroom not finding adelaide there he walked down the stairs
when he walked in the kitchen addy was stood infront of the sink in one of finn his shirts the shirt reached slightly beneath her knees
softly humming the melody of 'everybody wants to rule the world' from tears for fears she did the dishes they had left the night before
finn placed his hands on addy her hips and his head on her shoulder "couldn't sleep?" he asks his voice soft adelaide turned her head so her eyes met with finn's as she shook her head no
adelaide turned around to face him as he was about to kiss her addy ducked under his arm and opened the fridge
"addy" finn whines
"what i'm thirsty" addy shrugs taking a bottle of water out the fridge
finn spins adelaide around takinh the water bottle out if her hand and putting it on the kitchen counter
finn his hands placed on her hips as they softly dance to the music
'help me make the most of freedom and of pleasure nothing ever lasts forever'
adelaide laughs laying her head on finn his chest
'everybody wants to rule the world'
finn removed addy her arms from around his neck and interwined their finger mentioning for her to step on his feet which she did
"There's a room where the light won't find you!" finn sings loudly making addy laugh finn smiles looking down at her 'he made her laugh'
"Holding hands while the walls come tumbling down When they do I'll be right behind you!" finn sings again trying to make adelaide laugh again
"finn stop!" addy laughs "the neighbours are sleeping"
but finn didn't care that night finn was probably the happiest he had been his entire life dancing in the kitchen and the only light that was on was the soft refrigerator light
