standing invincible and mighty proud.
Towers of glass beneath stony walls,
impermeable to the malice lingering down.

A sneak peak from the valley below would entice,
but it'll only burn your eyes.
Way above the bloody battlefield,
They started to judge the meaning of our lives.

Decades ago they built a castle,
way above on mighty hills.
And soon they stopped visiting,
when the plains would no longer kneel.

Ah, they built over mighty hills,
with everything but an escape.
And so they jumped down; to fail.
