Chapter 1

A/N: This chapter has everything/everyone aged up and takes place years later after the 'incident'

Narrator/3rd Person POV

The forest moved quickly to one side, being blown by a large and sudden gust of wind that came from something that passed by at the speed of 'lightning'

fast footsteps were heard, and a small little 'area' that was full of 'huts' and an 'echidna' stood by

the blue lighting stopped, revealing someone in a small little dark black cloak that reached to their chest, it was also used to make a hood to cover the 'persons head' and to make a mask to cover their nose and mouth.

The hood was removed, showing a teenage 'blue hedgehog', he had some type of faint white patterns around his dark blue quils, stating he was in a 'tribe'

the 'red echidna' soon came out from one of the 'huts', holding a sharp patterned spear.

he wore this 'head piece' that was made from dark brown faded 'feathers' (not long claws feathers)

and the same cloak the 'hedgehog' wore, there were some 'white faint' patterned striped on the end of his quils just like the 'hedgehogs'

"Sonic, what do i have to keep saying when running out in the open like that." The 'echidna' scolded Sonic

"Don't worry Knuckles, plus, i'm to fast for them to catch up." Sonic exclaimed

Oh, how Knuckles wanted to bring up 'LongClaw' so badly to teach him a 'lesson', but didn't.

"Just be careful." Knuckles warned

"I will.." Sonic mumbled, as if he was 'sarcastic' but wasn't actually.

Knuckles sighed, 'stress' ran over his mind, and on the other was his 'adopted little brothers' safety

"Have you at least found any more survivors?" Knuckles asked, walking back into the huge 'hut' with Sonic tagging along behind

"No sign of the other yet." Sonic said, watching Knuckles sit down crisscrossed on a small mat, with a long-low oak table in front of him

"Alright, sit down Sonic, and wear your hood up, nobody untrustworthy to us must know that my 'little brother' is a 'blue hedgehog' with powerful powers." Knuckles said, acting all serious

"Alright, alright." Sonic said, before sitting next to Knuckles

"How long does this type of job take again..?" Sonic whispered, leaning to his side a bit, getting a bit closer to Knuckles

"Just stay quiet" Knuckles said, "Also what did i say about your hood!" Knuckles scolded Sonic once more, his words coming out a bit fast.

"I'm sorry..." Sonic apologized, his voice still sounding as if he intentionally was being 'sarcastic'

Sonic took his hood and put it up over his head, before letting his head low, making sure no light was to reflect part of his face for others to see.
