AN: I apologize for the chapter repost. I added a new chapter before this one and added more to this chapter.

After that Halloween night, Violet had done some research on that room and she had found out that it was called The Room of Requirement. It only appeared when someone really needed it and turned into whatever room they needed it to be. Violet had realized that since she had been thinking of her parents and her life before everything happened, that the room had looked like the living room from Godric's Hallow. Being able to talk to her parents through the picture wasn't the same as talking to them in person, but it definitely filled the void a little. And she would take whatever she could get.

It was the morning after the first Quidditch match. Gryffindor had won. Violet had been concerned when Harry's broom started acting weird, but was glad he won Gryffindor the game.

Violet made her way to the Great Hall to have breakfast. While she was eating, she got a letter from Dumbledore asking her to come to his office once she had finished eating. Violet looked up towards where Dumbledore was and then looked over to where Harry was sitting. He had a letter, too. Violet smiled. She knew Dumbledore was going to tell Harry that he and Violet were brother and sister. She showed Cedric the letter as she finished eating.

"Have fun." Cedric said, laughing.

"Do you want to work on homework together later?" Violet asked.

"I look forward to it." Cedric said, smiling.

Violet made her way to Dumbledore's office. Harry wasn't here yet.

"Good morning, Violet." Dumbledore greeted.

"Morning." Violet said.

A few minutes later, Harry walked in. "You wanted to see me sir." He said. He then noticed Violet. "Sir, if this is about what happened Halloween night, I didn't mean to get anybody in trouble." Harry added.

"That's not why I asked you to come here, Mr. Potter." Dumbledore said. "I'm afraid I haven't been honest with you."

"What do you mean, sir?" Harry asked.

"I'm sure by now you've met Violet." Dumbledore said.

"Yes, sir." Harry said. "She's your granddaughter, right?"

"She's not really not my granddaughter, Harry." Dumbledore said. "Violet is actually your older sister."

"What?" Harry asked.

"We're related." Violet said.

"And you're just telling me this now?" Harry asked, looking to Dumbledore.

"You were still new to this world." Dumbledore said. "I didn't want to put too much on you at once. And I'm sorry for that." The three were quiet for a few moments. "I suppose you two want to get to know each other." Dumbledore said. "Well, I'll leave you guys to it." The two kids walked out of the office.

"Do you want to talk while I walk my dog?" Violet asked.

"Sure." Harry said. They went to the Hufflepuff common room.

"Wait out here and I'll be right back." Violet said. Harry nodded.

Violet went into the common room, grabbed Jack from her room, and came back out to the hallway. "This is Jack." She introduced.

"He's cute." Harry said. The two walked outside. "So, you're my sister?" Harry asked.

"Yeah." Violet said. "I'm two years older than you. I'm a third year Hufflepuff."

"Have you known longer than today?" Harry asked.

Violet nodded. "I've known since the Sorting Ceremony when they announced your name." Violet explained. "I asked Dumbledore about it and he told me. I wanted to tell you, but Dumbledore told me not to."

"Why do people know you as his granddaughter?" He asked.

"I'm sure by now you've noticed the attention you get around here." Violet said.

"Yes." Harry said.

"I guess Dumbledore didn't want that for me, so I posed as his granddaughter." Violet continue.

"Why didn't you live with the Dursley's?" Harry asked.

"Who?" Violet asked.

"I live with Mum's Muggle sister, her husband, and their son." Harry explained.

"Oh right." Violet said. "I live with Dumbledore. He was afraid that I was going to say something about that night and accidentally expose the wizarding world, so he took me in."

"Do you remember anything from that night?" Harry asked.

"Very little." Violet said. "I have vague memories of that night." Harry nodded. "Congrats on being the first first year to join Quidditch in a century." Violet said, smiling a little. "And congrats on winning your first match."

"Thanks." Harry said. "I'm a Chaser on the Hufflepuff team, so we'll have some matches against each other." Violet said.

"Cool." said Harry.

"Can I ask you something?" Violet asked.

"Go ahead." Harry said.

"Why were you and other first years out of bed the other night?" Violet asked. "And don't tell me it was to explore the castle."

"A Slytherin first year, Draco Malfoy, challenged me to a duel that night." Harry explained. "But, it was a trick to get us in trouble." Violet had heard of the Malfoy family. They were a pure blood family. "What were you doing out of bed?" Harry asked.

"I have trouble sleeping and tea helps, so I go to the kitchen a lot when I have trouble sleeping." Violet replied. "Dumbledore allows me to do this, so I don't get in trouble with the teachers if they see me out of bed at night." Harry nodded. "Harry, I know this is a lot to take in and I'm sorry you were kept in the dark about it." Violet started. "But, we are brother and sister and I want to get to know you and have a relationship with you."

"I want that too, Violet." Harry said. "I just need a little time to comprehend everything. This is all new to me."

"I understand." Violet said. "Just let me know when you're ready." The two continued to get to know each other.

Later that day, Violet was working on homework with Cedric.

"So, how was getting to know your brother?" Cedric asked.

"I think it went well." Violet answered.

"I'm sure you're glad he finally knows." Cedric said.

"Yeah." Violet said. "Although, I feel bad for him."

"Why?" Cedric asked.

"While I've been living with Dumbledore for the last ten years, Harry was living with my Mum's Muggle sister. And from what Harry's told me, they've been neglecting him." Violet replied.

"What do you mean?" Cedric asked.

"Harry told me that he sleeps in a small cupboard underneath the stairs that's meant for like storage or a closet." Violet explained. "And my Mum's sister thought she was a freak for a being a witch and lied to Harry about how our parents died, telling him they died in a car crash."

"I'm sorry, Violet." Cedric said. "That's not right for them to treat Harry like that and I'm sure it can't be easy for you to hear."

"I'll be talking to Dumbledore about that." Violet said.

"Well, I'm glad you and your brother finally know each other." Cedric said.

"Thank you, Cedric." Violet said.

While they were working, Cedric had taken Violet's hand into his. Violet smiled at the small gesture.
