Greta laid down on the bench, got as comfortable as she could get, and tried to fall asleep. Lucky Charm curled up next to her and started to purr. Greta smiled a bit and closed her eyes, which put her into a deep sleep.Greta was quickly walking away from Professor Lupin's class, flustered and ashamed. Professor Lupin had brought out a closet with a Boggart inside. Boggarts were supposed to take the form of a person's greatest fear.
Professor Lupin had instructed the class to chant the spell, "Redikkulus" in order to change the fear into something funny. Greta however, was the only student that failed. She wasn't sure how to make her greatest fear funny, so she just stood there, stuttering like a fool, until she was excused to calm down in the bathroom.
It was embarrassing and Greta wished that she would just disappear. It was too much to handle and she didn't want to run into Draco Malfoy. He would just taunt her like he always did. It was too late for Greta to get away, however.
"What's the big deal, Clayton? Why're you running away? Too scared?" Draco drawled.
He was right behind Greta, his hand placed on her shoulder.
"Such a wuss," he continued. "After all, everyone else in the class was able to face their fears. Why couldn't you?"
"I-I-I, um, I-"
Draco interrupted, "You're such a loser, Clayton. Why can't you do anything right, you pathetic little crybaby?" He smirked and smacked her books onto the ground.
Greta rushed to gather her books together. Draco picked up a smaller book that had slid next to him.
"What's this? A diary?" he snickered as he studied it.
"G-give it back," Greta stuttered.
"Not until I've had a peek," Draco insisted.
"P-please d-don't," Greta pleaded. Draco opened the diary and laughed as he scrolled through it.
"This is hilarious!" he smirked. "Your life must be crappy. I'm glad I'm being mentioned here a lot at least."
He tossed the diary back to Greta. Greta's hands fumbled as she tried to catch it.
Greta's vision blurred as her eyes filled with tears. She started to tremble and whimper.
"Don't take this too seriously, crybaby," Draco said as he nudged her shoulder. "I was just messing with you. Anyway, you don't wanna be late for your next class. It's starting soon."
He strutted away.
Greta sighed. "Why can't we just get along?"
"Greta, wake up!" a voice yelled.
Greta's eyes flew open quickly. Jade was standing over her.
"The train's stopped," Jade continued. "We gotta get off."
Greta sat up quickly. "Ah, um, coming!
She struggled to gather all of her bags, but eventually managed to do so before racing out of the train with Jade. After exiting the train station, Greta and Jade started to look around for their parents. It took a while, but they soon spotted their parents waving at them with the girls' three younger brothers, Henry, Serge, and Owen.
"Welcome back!" Greta's mom greeted.
Greta and Jade hugged their parents and brothers.
"Well, let's all get home now," her dad said, motioning for everyone to follow him.
