Mike pov
"The hell are you doing? It's ten after" I hear Nancy scream as she burst into my room
"Oh, sh¡t. sh¡t!" I scream as I rush on putting my pants
"Thirty seconds or I'm leaving without you, okay? Thirty seconds." Nancy screams as she hands downstairs
"Okay, I have to find my pants." I scream after her as I rush on to putting my pants on and fall over
I get up and hear some music playing as I head downstairs
"Michael, I know your D&D club is tonight." Mum tells me as I rush to get my stuff for school
"Hellfire" I correct her
"Why don't you call it the High School Dropout Club?" Nancy says but I don't let it bother me.
"I want you home no later than 9:00" Mum continues
"I'll try" I say to her as I get ready to leave the house
"No trying. You need to go to bed early"
"Why?" I yell at her
"It's a 6:30 flight, Michael." She screams back
"Yeah, I know, but..."
No buts. Nine or no California. And no sweetie pie.
"Mike! Let's go." Nancy screams from outside
"Jesus. How am I gonna survive a whole week without you guys?" I say to them as I open the door
"Nine" mum screams at me one more time
Door slams
[Time skip]
Max pov
As I walk into school I hear the school counselor scream "Pep rally! Pep rally!"
"Kyle, good to see you.Hey, Josh. To the gym, everyone. To the gym. Go support your Tigers! Go, Tigers! To the gym! Hi, Amber." She continues
"Max! Max!" I trying to ignore her but it doesn't work as she Taos my shoulder
"Where were you yesterday?" She said while looking at me with pity
"Oh, yeah. Sorry, I forgot it was Thursday" I told her as I tried to end the conversation and leave
"I'd like to see you today. Come straight after lunch, okay?" She said to me still looking at me like I am some fragile kid
I nodded and walked away
Mike pov
"Look, I'm not saying that my girlfriend is better than yours. It's just that Suzie's, like, a certified genius." Dustin says to me while sitting down at the bleachers
"You do realize El saved the world twice, right?" I say to because he clearly doesn't understand how amazing El really is
"And yet you still have a C in Spanish" he says to me as the marching band starts to play
That it's for this chapter I hope you liked it. The next chapter I will try to make it longer but I am still new to this. I would appreciate if you offered any criticism on how to improve and if you find any spelling mistakes don't be afraid to tell me cause I will fix it
