So you've may or may not have seen a "If I was in" Gacha series. You've seen "If I was in You're not my Alpha!" or "If I was in Replaced". Now you might be wondering what "Your're not my Alpha" is. Well that dates back to the early years of Gacha! So come, join me as I guide you through the Gacha Classics... I think they're classics?
"The Core Gacha Series". These Gacha stories are known by classic Gachas all around the world. From what I've seen, a lot of gacha stories stemmed off of these core series.
First is "The hated child that became a princess" series. This series also has alterations of it's name like "The hated child that became the hybrid princess" and even the twist of "The spoiled child that became the princess", but it's mostly known for it's original name since it's long enough as it is. On a personal note, this series was one of the first I've seen and the video that convinced me to join the Gacha community! It was probably similar for a lot of other Gacha's aswell. This was one of the first (I think?) and therefore a Core Gacha Series.
Second is the "Your not my Alpha!" series. I think the spelling mistake of "Your" instead of "You're" was made because the videos were made by kids who didn't really know proper spelling. So for the sake of grammar, I'm gonna use "You're". The "You're not my Alpha!" series is a memorable one to be sure. It takes a page from the already disproven fact of there being a wolf hierarchy, that hierarchy consisting of Alphas, Omegas, Betas, etc... On a personal note, I did watch this as a kid. But soon I stopped watching them because they got too edgy for my taste. Although I don't remember when this series popped up, this is DEFINITLY a Core Gacha Series.
Third is the "Replaced" series. It's literally just one word so you might not know what it is. It's about a student (usually a girl) who has two or three bestfriends. One day a either popular, rich, popular AND rich, or just another LIE-la girl comes to the school and replaces the student, taking away the students best friends. the story comes in what I call "Acts", but we're not talking about the detailed plot of these stories. But if y' all want me to make a chapter about the plots, I will! From what I can remember, this story was one of the later ones. But that didn't mean it didn't leave an impression! This is what I would consider a Core Gacha Series.
Forth is the "Ugly to pretty" series. I'll admit, I didn't watch much of this. But it was still popular enough to get "If I was in" videos and I definitely remember them from my old years. Although I don't know much about it, I do know what it was generally about. A student (presumably a girl) would look like a "ugly nerd" on her 1st or 2nd day. But when she came to school the next day, she'd look pretty??? Idk, I never watched this series. So while yes, this MIGHT be one of the lesser known series, it is still a Core Gacha Series.
Fifth is the "My Boss is my ex husband" series. I know I've seen this series at least once, but I only remember the plot through "If I was in" videos... Although, the title itself is pretty self explanatory, the story is about a woman who gets pregnant. Before she tells her husband, her husband wants a divorce. She leaves, yare yare yare, a few years pass by and she goes to get a job. But a twist! Her boss is her Ex husband!!! So yeah. It got an "If I was in" so I'm putting it in. This would also be a Core Gacha Series.
I'm starting to lose motivation because I just realized there are A LOT of Core Gacha Series that have been made over the years. I haven't even talked about the "I can read my brother's mind" series, or the "Forced Marriage" Series!!! So for now, I will just- PAUSE...
so uhm... Bye.
