It's been over a year. Hello.
My very first Wattpad story became successful. However, it also started to slowly drift away from me as I became a better, more experienced writer. I hope that you all can see the improvement, the difference, how everything has changed since the very first chapter "Forest" was released.
But I had to make this chapter. I needed to let you all know why I've been gone for over a year, why I have no more ideas, why I am giving up on this story altogether. I'm almost ashamed to say this and I know I will get backlash, but I don't like the DSMP anymore. I haven't watched their streams or videos since I last released a chapter. Once the Egg storyline started up, I realized that I was becoming bored of the content that both me and the DSMP creators made. I also was becoming aware of controversy and just how awkward some of the fans are (not saying that you all are awkward, a lot of you are amazing and very respectful). To put it into more simple terms, obsessions never last forever. I went through a couple more phases in the past year and I enjoyed them, but eventually we mature and we grow up. I became too old for the DSMP.
So this story is completed. I'm not writing anything else. I am not closing the storyline or finishing anything up. The last chapter is the last chapter, no matter how unfinished it is, and the last sentence will be the last sentence. I'm planning to start a new story though, one that is my own original work and one that is not solely based on something that already exists. I hope that you all will continue to read my content and understand why I am not writing fan fictions anymore. I want to become a writer that writes my own ideas and not someone else's.
