i shut my phone off, move my guitar from my lap and run downstairs to open the door.

"chris!" i say giving him a huge hug.

"i missed you" he said

"chris, i literally just saw you yesterday"

"i know but still, my offer still stand tonight btw" i smile knowing that his offer for me to sleep over still stands.

"you know you can sleep over whenever right?"

"i know i know"

we walk upstairs to my room and chris collapses on my bed.

"hey, what's this?" he said picking up my notebook and turning his head.

"oh, that's my song book" i say as he skims through the book. i notice and take it away from him.

"song book?"

"yeah like- my songs." he gives me a look.

"that's what i was trying to tell you guys the other day."

"what?"

"i want to put out music" chris' smile brightens and he sits up.

"oh my gosh that's so cool, i'm so proud of you" he says giving me a hug.

"nothing like official or anything just like maybe post a youtube video of it or something. like yeah one day maybe i'll like actually release a song but until then i think i want to put it on youtube"

"that's great ro, really" i smile at him.

"why didn't you put out songs earlier?" he asks me.

"idk i just- i felt like they weren't good enough"

"well, from what i've seen- they are beyond good enough. you're amazing, at everythung you do. don't doubt yourself"

"thank you chris" i give him another smile and a second later he tackles me giving me the biggest hug making me laugh to the point where my stomach hurt.
