Caspian could clearly see that something was off about me, but he wasn't sure what exactly. It troubled him. It especially troubled him that he couldn't read my mannerisms and moods as well as he used to be able to do.
He sighed and sat down next to me on the grass, gazing up at the peach sky of the serenitea pot.
"What's up with you, sunflower?" Cas asked softly. "You've been out of it for the past couple of days."
"It's nothing much, really." I shrugged. "I just kinda miss home, y'know?"
"Ah." Realisation dawned on Cas as he mentally smacked himself for not noticing sooner. "Wanna tell me about it? Perhaps we could ask Aether if there's a way to return."
"I mean, this world is amazing, but...not a lot can beat early morning walks along the river thames, or the creme bruleé at bull's head pub." I rambled listlessly, smiling absent mindedly. "I miss Chiswick high street, too."
Cas frowned slightly. He felt like there was a gap between him and I, considering I'd led an entire life separate from him in a different world. He didn't like it one bit.
"Well, how about this, (n/n), lets go to your world."
I sat up, looking at him curiously. "You mean it? Is that something I can do?"
"It's clearly possible." Cas said absent-mindedly. "If I could get my hands on a few Celestian spellbooks, then I don't see why we can't."

"Gods, I missed this place." I breathed in the familiar air of home. London.
"This place is so...busy." Cas mumbled, taking in his surroundings. We were at my favourite place in London, Chiswick high street. The same place I'd come earlier with Diluc for hot chocolate and gingerbread men. It felt like a lifetime ago, and in a sense, it was. I wasn't the same person anymore.
"It's cool, huh?" I chuckled. "Where to first?"
"I...I don't know." Cas seemed starstruck. Heh. Fitting, considering he wears a star halo. Although that was conveniently stashed away for now.
"Alrighty then, I say we eat." I mentally swept through my list of my favourite restaurants on the high street. "Hmm...Nandos! Off we go!" I hummed happily as I pulled Caspian along with me.
"Slow down, sunflower!"
