Third Person POV

The two minute wait seemed to stretch a lot more. It felt like hours were passing by and help was still not here. Michael was getting paler by the second and blood was still coming out of his body.

He knew that time was running out for him, he knew it. By the time the medical team arrived, he would've lost a lot of blood and probably his heart would stop beating. He looked at the woman in front of him who was trying her hardest on keeping the man she loved alive. Her hands were as red as crimson, and her black clothes were starting to take a darker tinge on them. Sophia kept on applying pressure to the wounds, trying to stop them from bleeding. She turned her head and smiled at Michael.

-The blood is stopping, Mickey. You're gonna be okay.- Sophia said and Michael smiled. He didn't know if she was trying to reassure him more or herself.

Knowing that there was nothing else she could do, he took her hands with his as he looked up. Sophia looked between his hands wrapping on hers and moving them from his torso and his eyes. A look of panic painted on her face.

-Mickey, what are you doing?.- Sophia asked as she tried to move her hands back, unsuccessfully.

-Soph, stop.- Michael said but Sophia just shook her head.

Sophia hadn't allowed the tears to fall just yet, because she had hope that he was going to be okay. The medical team will arrive and they'll help him. Michael knew this was going to break her, if it was not doing it already. His heart was breaking in a million pieces as he looked at the woman he loved.

The one that had suffered and gone through so much in her life, that she did not deserve to go through the same again. And for him.

Michael knew this was going to be hard for her and he had a clear idea of what she might do after all of this. He knew her perfectly and he knew she was not just going to stand there and do nothing, and to be completely honest, that's what scared him the most. Not only was he going to lose her, she was going to lose herself and that frightened him to the core.

-No, no, Mickey if I just keep enough pressure, when the med team arrives they'll– Sophia struggled to find the words and continue as her voice broke down.

Michael let out a breathy laugh and looked at her.

-Soph, baby, you know it. You know this is it.- Michael said as he started coughing blood a little.

In a quick movement Sophia lifted his head a little, so he didn't choke on his blood.

-No, Mickey. This is not it. You wanna know why?.- Sophia asked as she stared at the green emerald eyes she loved so much. -Because you still have a lot to live for. We have. We're getting married, remember? And we are going to go on a nice honeymoon, then we'll buy a house and rebuild it ourselves like we planned on our board. We are getting this massive green garden full of plants and flowers and cultivating some vegetables and herbs.- Sophia said with a sad smile, caressing Michael's face as her voice cracked a little.

Michael smiled as he nodded.

-We-we're getting a dog, right? You promised we would get one. A german shepherd. And do you remember what you wanted to call him?.- Sophia asked Michael and he nodded with his head as he opened his lips to talk.

-Rocky.- Michael said, his voice lowering to a whisper and Sophia pulled him closer carefully.

-Yes, yes! Rocky, because of your favourite movie.- Sophia said. -Then, we agreed on having kids. You said you always wanted an even number, but not two because you wanted a big family. And I was scared when we talked about it because I felt I was going to be a terrible mum, but you said that I was going to be great with our babies and I'm sure you will be a great dad too, you know? I'm sure of it.- Sophia said as she choked out a sob. -We are going to have an amazing life, Mickey. Just hold on a little longer, baby please. Don't leave now.- Sophia said as she finally let her tears run freely.
