Unexpected

Chapter 28

Justin's POV:

I went downstairs and Mom was making breakfast

"Mom?" I said tiredly, I hardly slept last night thinking about what happened with Jason

"Yeah? " She replied

"Um, I was thinking last night, do you think I'm like, or will end up like, Jason?"

"No sweetie, you just got angry because he hurt Caitlin"

I nodded

Caitlin's POV:

I went downstairs and Justin was stood shirtless getting plates out of the cupboard for breakfast 

Once he'd put the plates on the table I wrapped my arms around him

He seemed tense

"You ok baby?" I asked

"Yeah" He replied, but I wasn't convinced

We ate breakfast whilst Drew was still sleeping and then I went upstairs to check on him

He was laid in his crib wide awake

When he saw me he instantly smiled

I picked him up and took him downstairs

I made him a bottle for his breakfast and then tested it to make sure it wasn't too hot

I then fed him before going into the living room where Justin was sat watching TV

I sat on the couch next to Justin with Drew sat on my lap

Pattie called the school and told them me and Justin wouldn't be in today as I was still shaken up from what happened with Jason and Justin was still in a bit of pain from Jason hitting him...

Pattie had gone to work so it was just me, Justin and Drew

Justin was still shirtless from this morning and was currently flipping through channels

It was now lunch time and I was still in my pyjamas, Drew too

I could tell Drew was getting hungry so I took him into the kitchen and sat him in his highchair

I made some baby rice and then fed him that before giving him a bottle of milk

Once he was done I left him sat in his highchair and quickly went into the living room grabbing one of his toys for him to play with

As I took the toy to Drew Justin got up and followed me into the kitchen

I handed Drew the toy and made me and Justin some lunch

Me and Justin sat down to eat and Drew was sat watching us

Once we had eaten I washed the plates and Justin dried them putting them back in the cupboard

He wasn't talking much and I could see he was still tense...

Something's bothering him...

I could see Drew starting to get tired in his highchair so I picked him up and took him upstairs to his room

I kissed his forehead and then laid him in his crib, tucking him in

I put his musical mobile on and went back downstairs and into the kitchen where Justin was sat at the table

"Come on" I said making him turn to look at me

"Where to?" He asked

"Upstairs, we are going to watch a movie" I smiled

He stood and followed me upstairs

We went into his room and put a movie on

I couldn't stand seeing Justin still so tense

I moved so I was sat behind him, straddling him

I began massaging his shoulders and neck, I then kissed his right shoulder and up his neck

He was beginning to relax so I continued massaging his shoulders, moving down and massaging the top of his back

Once I could tell he was relaxed enough I moved back to my position sitting next to him

"Now tell me what's bothering you" I spoke softly

"Jason" Was all he said, not looking away from the TV

I put my hand on his chin making him look at me

I gave him a look to continue

"I don't want to end up like him" He muttered, looking down

"You won't" I frowned "You were only that mad because of what he did to me"

"But I scared you"

"I'm fine" I replied, giving him a light smile

He simply nodded

I moved closer to him and leaned my head on his chest

Even though he was still shirtless his chest was warm

He wrapped his arm around me and kissed my forehead

"I'm sorry" He muttered

"Stop apologising, I'm fine" I replied

We then decided to turn the movie off and lay and cuddle

I awoke to Drew crying

I sat up and stretched

Justin was already awake and smiled at me

"What?" I asked, getting out of the bed

"Rise and shine sleeping beauty" He joked

"I was tired" I replied, playfully defending myself

I then went into Drew's room and picked him up, calming him down

I then changed his diaper and redressed him in his pyjamas

I took Drew into Justin's room and Drew started laughing

I smiled at his laugh, as did Justin

Later Pattie got home and started making dinner

I headed downstairs to help her and Justin followed with Drew in his arms

We reached the kitchen and Justin sat Drew in his highchair and made him some baby food whilst I helped Pattie with dinner

Justin fed drew and I smiled at how cute Justin was being with him

Once dinner was ready Pattie served it up and me and Justin sit down to eat, soon joined by Pattie

Drew once again said watching us

After dinner I was tired and so was Justin so we took individual showers

Pattie then bathed Drew before taking a shower herself 

I then put Drew to bed before heading into Justin's room

"Can I sleep here tonight?" I asked

"Sure" He said, patting the spot next to him

I got in and snuggled into Justin before falling asleep...
